It has itsheadquarter in UK and has currently employed around 375000 employees worldwide. The reportwill cover the purpose, roles and responsibilities of HR function as well as assessment ofdifferent approaches to recruitment, selection and workforce planning (Banfield, Kay andRoyles, 2018). Apart from that, various aspects of employment legislation and evaluation ofemployee relations will also be included in this report. Moreover, the report will also includeapplication of HRM practices.TASK 1P1 Purpose and functions of HRM related to workforce planning and resourcing Purpose of HR functionThe basic purpose of HR is to improve the effectiveness of the human resource towardsthe achievement of the goals and objectives of the Toyota. Apart from this, the other humanresource functions of Toyota is to develop strong relationship with line managers and other staffmembers which will support achievement of team objectives.
