In this regard, business profits and revenue could beexpand successfully to operate systematic work performances. Present report is based on Hiltonhotel which is the one of the large business operate their functions and operations in hospitality.They develop different activities and tasks through business will able to focus on the innovativefunctioning at workplace. For gaining insight information of the report, it covers purpose andfunctions of HRM applicable to workforce planning. Furthermore, report also explains thestrengths and weaknesses of different methods of recruitment and selection. It helps to determinethe importance of employee relations in order to consider HRM decision making. TASK 1P1. Purpose and functions of HRM applicable to workforce planningIn order to consider workforce planning in the business, HRM plays an important role inthe business. In this regard, it is important to determine the purpose and functions that carry toattain more creative consideration at workplace (Stone, Deadrick and Johnson, 2015). There areseveral activities and tasks that have been carried out with long and short term goals that areneeded to perform different programs in Hilton hotel. Following are certain functions that areconsidered at workplace:Recruitment and selection: In this aspect, Hilton hotel needs to focus on the recruitmentand selection of new people at workplace. Therefore, they are able to make effectivefunctioning and attain qualified candidates in the business (Úbeda-García, Claver-Cortésand Zaragoza-Sáez, 2016). It helps to meet with positive response that maintains effectivefunctioning in the enterprise. Orientation: In this way, new employees are attracted at workplace that assists toperform functions and operations in a systematic manner. Performance appraisal: It is also the major function of chosen business that assists tomaintain effectiveness at workplace. These can be defined as follows:Maintain good working: HRM play an important role in the consideration of severalbenefits. In this regard, they need to maintain effectiveness and results with relationshipas well. Therefore, Hilton hotel is able to maintain healthy working conditions withencouraging several people at workplace. In this way, good working conditions will beimplemented to ascertain the desired results and activeness in a systematic manner(Banfield, Kay and Royles, 2018). Increase employee relations: Furthermore, another objective of the chosen business is toincrease their employee relationship in a systematic manner. In this regard, they are alsoable to create proper and effective influence with implement proper working pattern(Gannon, Roper and Doherty, 2015). In order to consider employee and employeerelations, it could be said that Hilton hotel will manage their effectiveness in company tofocus on the desired results at workplace. Smooth functioning: With the help of HRM, company is able to consider severaladvantages that assist to maintain effective working conditions at workplace. In this way,they are able to attain smooth functioning in a systematic manner. With the help of properconsideration, it can be seen that effectiveness will be increasing in Hilton hotel.
