INTRODUCTIONHRM is considered as most essential department in organisation which works to managepeople and retain talent. HR manager always ensure to hire most skilled and deserving personand motivating them so that these people perform well in business unit. Human resourcemanagement supports in improving team building spirits and resolving conflicts at workplacesignificantly. It is effective in order to minimise legal compliances and conducting operations insmooth manner. HR manager of firm always emphases on HR policies and ensure that companyfollows all legal regulations carefully. Chocolate presence is taken for present study, it is therapidly expanding firm that operates in many locations. Microsoft is also taken into considerationwhich is the leading technology firm. Current assignment will explain HR functions. In addition,assignment will create person specification and will describe benefit and drawbacks of currentadvertising methods. Furthermore, report will describe benefit of HRM practices TASK 1HRM function with their purpose HRM is the practice that ensures effective management of human resource in organisation.It also plays management role which deals with the concerns of that are refereed to thestaff of the organisation like their safety, security, benefits motivation and also training anddevelopment. This enables employees to efficiently with the overall achievement of thegoal (Sparrow, Brewster and Chung, 2016).

Functions of Human resource management are given below:- Training and development-Through training and developing new employees getsacquainted with the new environment as well the work culture of the company. ‘ChocolatePresence’ is organising various training sessions for the new Joinees which develops theirefficiency and enhanced their job performance. This training session is mainly done to make theemployees good performer .HR manager of the ‘Chocolate Presence’ company ensures allpeople have understanding about their job, that is used in the operation during the work .as withthe time they got trained and develops the efficiency and with the development they bring thenew scopes which is good for the business development of the ‘Chocolate Presence’ Recruitment-Company is facing issues hence there is requirement to recruit the rightperson (Stewart and Brown, 2019). Lots of this function included the developing job description,publishing and also source the expected candidate. it also included the interviewing, salarydiscussion and also make the job offer.Performance management-it is the most crucial function as it is involves the measure of theemployee’s job and give them rewards accordingly.Illustration 1: functions of HRM(Source: Human Resource Management, 2019)

Job analysis- it determines the employees functions. Chocolate pretence ensures allpeople perform their job well and company can get desired results (Banfield, Kay and Royles,2018. ). it also included the collection of the data and also measuring the information and also atlast compiling them with total job description with specification. It describes the identificationoff the job as well as responsibilities towards it. it also includes the personality of the personwhich is necessary for the performance of the job.Ensuring legal compliance-this function is important for the protection of anorganisation. Every organisation's human resource department should be conscious about all thelaws and the policies that are related to the employment, working conditions and also theworking hours and minimum wages tax allowance. Recruitment-`It is the process of attracting talent who can work better in the firmInternal recruitment-when the employees are promoting either through promotion likepermanent to temporary and also transfer them to other place. Chocolate preference companyfilled the vacant position through the promotion process. This process has its own strength andweakness.
