Introduction Human resources management is the procedure which includes recruitment, planning, selection, training, motivation and termination of worker within an organization in best possible manner. HRM is an essential part of every organization that manages and maintains people and their satisfaction level in the firm.

2.2 Discuss how employment law affects the management of human resources in a hospitality organization Health and safety at work act 1974- This act needed for hoteliers in taking care of substances that might cause injuries for employees and protective techniques and also maintain the safety measures from hazardous situations. Licensing act 19964- The Hilton hotel provides alcoholic beverages that required it to hold a license to sell the same. It provides rights and duties to the hotel in serving alcohol to the guests and there should be separate bar for serving the beverages.
Contd.. •Data protection act 1998- this act states that hotel is not allowed to disclose their guest data and personal details in front of everyone. The data should be safe and secured and also it should be destroy after specific period of time. When data of customers does not properly safe and secured by hotel so this will create major issues such as hacking the personal details. •Equality act Act 2010- this act states that hotel does not discriminate between services providers on the basis of gender, race, caste, sex, religion and age. This will create conflicts within an organization which directly affects on employees performance. It is required for Hilton hotel is to maintain equality among all the employees so this will reduces the chance of conflicts and disputes.
