This document discusses the needs of a service user group with protected characteristics, such as age, gender, religion, race, and belief. It emphasizes the importance of providing equal opportunities and healthcare services to these individuals, particularly children with special needs. The duties, roles, and responsibilities of nurse assistants are also explored, along with the challenges and joys they experience in their profession. The document further examines the relationship between professional groups and service user groups with protected characteristics, as well as the relevant policy and legislation in place to protect these individuals. Recommendations for developing the performance of professional roles and the benefits and challenges of working interprofessionally with other team workers are also discussed.
