sector focuses on adopting competitive culture in order to increase revenue in future period of
time. It helps in encouraging subordinate to perform their work in better way.
Based on the discussion and debate what suggestions / recommendations (strategies) would you
make to enhance performance of organisation?
There are different methods which are adopted by company for bringing positive ambience
at workplace. It is important that employee as well as employer perform their work together for
achieving objective within company. The CEO of British American tobacco can perform their
work in an appropriate in order to increase performance. There are some suggestions which is
going to be mentioned below:
ď‚· It is important that BAT providing training to its subordinate in order to increase skill and
competence to perform work in an appropriate manner. It helps them in increasing
productivity level in future period of time. It also saves the price of recruitment and
selection within organisation. It can help an organisation focuses on achievement
competitive advantage over rivalries at marketplace by providing effective training to its
employees during particular phase of time period.
ď‚· For increasing performance level of organisation, it is important for BAT to motivating
its employees. They also adopt perquisites rather than monetary one. It is needed that
they focus on offering appreciation, promotions, bonus, and social status to their
subordinate in order to keep them satisfied. It has been analysed that satisfied subordinate
are considered as a more productive within company.
ď‚· The other suggestions in relation to BAT are increasing or enhancing performance level
of organisation by successfully selecting leader within company. The transformational
leadership style is considered as best styles that is according to the need of company. It is
