INTRODUCTIONRecruitment is the process of finding and attracting capable applicants for employmentSelection is a process for choosing the most suitable candidate to fill the vacant positions in firm.This present report is based on Bailey Bus and Coach which is one of the top quality executivetravel firms in UK. In this report, researcher will discuss the internal and external sources of recruitment planof an organization. In this study, legal and ethical requirements needed in recruitment processwill also be highlighted. Apart from that, need to prepare documentation used for identifiedvacancy in company will be discussed. In addition to this, purpose of different documentsrequired in selection and recruitment process will be studied in the report.TASK 11.) Planning and recruitment by using internal and external sources of TescoInternal and External sources of recruitment are as follows:Internal sources: Internal sources of organization include promotion and transfer. In acompany, when existing employee gets higher position because of his effective performance, itmotivates other employees as well to work hard (Ababneh, Hackett and Schat, 2014). Throughadvertisement, employees come to know about such vacancies. External sources: Tesco uses external sources for recruiting candidates for higherposition, when existing employees are not much experienced and cannot be assigned with higherauthorities. External sources include advertisement, by internet and social networking etc (Raziqand Shaikh, 2015). Through advertising for the vacant positions, many candidates come to knowabout it and apply for the same. Through these sources highly skilled candidates can be hired fororganization. 3

Impact of legal and regulatory framework on recruitment and selection activitiesLegal and regulatory framework ensures that process applied for recruitment andselection is fair and everyone can have equal access to job vacancies (Rahim, 2016). The impactof this framework on hiring and selecting process of firm can be understood as follows:Sex discrimination act 1995/97: The act states that Bailey Bus and Coach cannotdiscriminate applicants on the basis of marital status, gender or sex while recruiting for aspecific post. However, this act implies that all men and women are treated equally at thetime of selection process.The equal pay act 2010: Company started treating employees equally and pay them in afair way by following this act. The equal pay act is an effective legal framework forpreventing discrimination at the workplace (Ababneh, Hackett and Schat, 2014). At thetime of selection and recruitment process, company is required to set equal wages forworkers who possess same skills.
