Executive summary
The report will consider an Australian brand and a global brand for the discussion regarding
marketing communication tools used. Woolworths and amazon are competitors to each other, for
which the report will include the electronic and non-electronic communication tools used.
Non-electronic communication methods used by Amazon include Newspaper, Sales promotion,
Magazine, and Publicity. Non-electronic communication methods used by Woolworths include
Loyalty schemes, Newspaper, Sales promotion, Hoardings and billboards, and Magazines.
Amazon is majorly using Electronic mode of communication to a greater extent as the company
is serving the customer through electronic mode only. Whereas Woolworths is using non-
electronic and traditional methods of communication to a greater extent and the company to
create brand positioning and brand presence use localized strategy.
