the latest technical gadgets at your finger tips.
 Modern workplace environment evolving at lightning speed with distributed teams,
brand new business models and complex security issues.
 In modern times, companies has been focus on the digital tools that connect and
support employees into more far better way.

1. Background outline the project related organisation.
Kellogg's :
 Kellogg's is the global brand which manufacturing food products. Also, a Kellogg's
expanded to include many other products or brands as well under its one umbrella.
 It is an American multinational brand which already has been spread across the
world. Kellogg's is famous for cookies, crackers, toaster pastries.
 Kellogg's marketed their products or services in over 180 countries.
Vision : Kellogg's vision is to explore the food opportunities through expanding the
brands value.
Purpose : Kellogg's dream to nourishing families and customers with high quality
standards.

2. Goals and objectives
 The main purpose or goal of modern workplace environment is to develop the new
technological advancements which helps to reshaped the organisation performance
and productivity level.
 In other words, new changes within the organisation might have spread the new
opportunities for the employees to learn to develop for the new achievements.
 Modern workplace environment can providing different growth possibilities like
changing the way businesses communicate.
 For example : Modern technologies can help employees to use different option of
communication that can help to pass the information in faster way or also deliberate,
collaborative and unfiled.
 With the helps of technology employees not need to be present at the workplace
every time they can also able to mark their present from anywhere.

collaborate. Besides, Technology has also helped company to connect with people anywhere
and at any time with high systematic format. In order to sustained the business opportunity it

Behavioural Theory of Leadership
 Behavioural theory of leadership is focus on how leaders behave in the particular situation.
 Such leadership theories are more towards into individual thoughts and thinks rather than
professional manner.

Overview
The presentation will cover the various team and group behaviour model which
will help the modern workplace to attract new people toward the organisation as
well as help workers to influence each other. The Kellogg's company has been
taken in order to complete the task.

Tuckman group development model:
Forming: the company will form a team of employees from different
organisation. As changing the whole work culture means converting the
traditional workplace to modern workplace is not an easy task.
Storming: At this stage it might be possible that group members starts to
understand each other and starting gaining each others trust. A positive
environment or behavior starts developing in the group. The leader of the team
will start discussing about the main motive of the group. At this stage the
participants may start forming the opinion about each other.

Norming: as now almost every organisation is shifting their working practices
from traditional t modern. Therefore at this stage the team become aware of the
competition and starts to share common goal. All the members of team create the
sense of team spirit and starts working in a team.
Performing: By coming to this stage the team members become highly
knowledgable and motivated. The necessary decisions will be made at this stage.
Adjourning: When the task of team which is introducing modern workplace has
completed than the team member may dissolve. And will join the new projects.

Belbin team role:
Resource Investigator: Resource investigator are those person who are
extroverted and has a lot of contacts both inside as well as outside the team.
Team worker: Team member is the most sensitive member in team. Team
worker is helpfuk and is focused of creating a good or pleasant atmosphere within
the organisation.
Co- ordinator: Co coordinators are the persons who look after procedures and
helps team members to clarify what their intention and what everyone wants.
Plant: they are the creative thinkers in a team. They find innovative and
surprising solution to the complex problems.

Monitor: Monitor are the analyst of a team. They always analysis the situation
and thinks and make decision after deep understanding of situation.
Specialist: The person has a immense knowledge in his/her field. The person will
provide knowledge on a specific topic. Specialist does not care for the social
activities.
Shaper: Shapers are passionate and willful. Shapers want to perform and look for
challenges. They make sure that the team meets the deadlines.
Implementer: Implementer is disciplined and task oriented. The person can be
too practical and conservative when they are not clear about the new ideas.
Completer Finisher: They have a unique talent, they know what will went
wrong. They pay lot of attention to details, rechecking and perfectionism

MOTIVATION AND PERCEPTION
Motivation play a major role in effectiveness in working of employees of an organisation, Kellogg must consider
motivation and perception in their organisation so as to achieve their targets and goals more effectively and
efficiently. Motivation can be understand by several theories.
Physiological needs
In an organisation like Kellogg's it offers competitive salaries to its employees which helps them in acquiring their
basic needs of living.
Safety needs
These needs are essential for an individual in order to keep them safe and healthy. It is the second most thing which are
to be prioritize is safety needs.
Social needs
Social needs are essential after achieving safety and physiological needs which helps an individual in achieving love
needs which includes friendship, giving and taking love, group membership and engaging in social activities.

Herzberg's Theory of Motivation :
This model was developed by Frederick Herzberg in year 1959. According to the theory of Herzberg, there are two factors that are
responsible for influencing the workers at the workplace.
Eliminating the stressors of job hygiene :
Firstly, leader of Kellogg's will have to ensure that, the factors of hygiene are not resulting into dissatisfaction among employees.
Boosting the job satisfaction :
After removing stressors of hygiene factors, management will make efforts for improving job satisfaction of every team member.
Motivation and perception-
Every employee of the organization has different perception. Workers that are having view that they are having more control over
their job are having more chances to get motivated. Social perception also impacts the perception of employees.

CONCLUSION
The study helps in understanding that how the group as well as team behavior
model can help organisation to introduce modern working practices. As modern
workplace is essential to be introduced in the organisation therefore it become
essentials to prepare the employees of the organisation to accept the changes.
