INTRODUCTION
Business refers to the organization or entity which is engaged in the trading and
commercial activities and can be profit or non-profit organization. Business environment refers
to the sum total of all the internal and external factors that are beyond the control of the company
and affects its operations and functions of the organization. These include customers,
competitors, employees, suppliers, government, technological factors etc. It can also be said the
business environment is the surroundings of all the elements that affects the business directly or
indirectly(Arsić, et.al,2018). It is classified into macro and micro environment. External factors
include the political, economic, social, legal and environmental factors that are uncontrollable
and impacts the organization. Land Rover, an automobile company has been taken to analyse
internal and external factors that can affect the business.
MAIN BODY
Business environment contains both the macro and micro environment which are beyond
the control of the company and affects the functioning of the organization. Various external
factors such as political, economical, social, legal and environmental factors which affects the
company's functioning(Niemimaa, et.al,2019). Land Rover is a British brand of specifically four-
wheel drive vehicles owned by multinational car Jaguar Range Rover and has its production
Brazil, UK etc.
SWOT Analysis
Land Rover is the world's multinational Premium car manufacturer and has established its
operation in 1948 and is the market leader in UK. The company is known for its technological
advancement and creative design. Being a Premium car manufacturer, the company faces various
challenges in the market and has strength to compete in the market. Over the years, the company
has maintained a strong brand image in the market and maintaining its portfolio is extremely
helpful if the brand wants to expand its market in near future(Kalaignanam,et.al, 2017.). The
company has maintained its supply chain network which enable the company to easily buy the
raw materials. Even though the company is the well-known, it has to face various challenges in
other product segments relating to the present culture and incurring a lot of cost on training and
development of the workforce. The company is investing in the research and development but
somewhere the company is unable to compete with other brands in the leading market which can
