Hilton hotel is a global brand of hotel industry which is founded by theConrad Hilton in 1919. Report will present the various classical management theories andleadership styles and their implementation in the service industry organisation such as Hiltonhotel. Study explores the factors which influence the different management styles and structureof the service industry. It also defines the future management and leadership skills for thesuccess of the Hilton hotel.LO 1P1 Classical management theories and leadership stylesClassical management theory believes that employees in a service sector do not have anysocial needs they only have physical and economical needs. No organisation can gain goalswithout having proper management, so management plays a crucial role in an organisation. Thistheory helps Hilton hotel in increasing employees' performance and hierarchical structure definesjob responsibilities of employees at different levels. Classical management theories are definedas follows:Scientific management approach: It is a well known theory of management becausethis approach concentrates on increasing or maximizing productivity. With the help of thisapproach, manager of Hilton hotel can easily solve problems or issues related labour. Accordingto this, manager focus on determinant efforts in such a way by which it can change the system ofmanagement in order to become and make the interest of management and employees same. Thisstyle can easily help the hotel in order to achieve their determined goals (Vittikh, 2015). It isvery effective approach because with the use of scientific techniques it can raise overallproductivity.1
