INTRODUCTION
 Leadership means guiding and motivating the employees in the organisation. A good
leaders is able to lead the organisation towards the path of success.
 In this presentation the discussion will be based on different types of classical
management theories and leadership styles in the organisation.

Classical Management Theory
Classical Management Theory only focuses on fulfilling the employee economic and physical needs
rather then social needs, job satisfaction, develop leadership skills or profit maximisation. Their are
three types of classical management theories which are-
• Scientific Management Theory
• Bureaucratic Management
• Administrative management

Different organisational Culture
Organisational Culture is used to define the attitude, behaviour, environment , in the
organisation. According to handy's model theirs are four types of culture that are power,
role, task and person which are explained below

Roles And Responsibilities Of Leaders And Managers
 Roles And Responsibilities Of Leaders And Managers in the hotel Hilton is that
leaders are responsible for building strong teams so that staff can work and
coordinate effectively as leaders guide and motivate staff.

Leadership Styles
Leadership Styles in the organisation can be autocratic, democratic and situational
leadership styles.

Comparison of leadership style
 Democratic Leadership Style: In the situation of technological advancement
the leaders can adopt democratic leadership style as it enhance leaders to
involve the employees to work in team and leaders influences to give views and
suggestions.

improve their relation ship with employees of Hotel.
 Advantage-This approach help the organization to get better result from employees.
 Disadvantage- This leadership style prevent the leader to take strong and strict decision
against employees.
 Autocratic Leadership style- In this leadership style only leader is capable to take
decision and make change in organization.
 Advantage- Leader is capable to take strict action for company easily.

CONCLUSION
 From the above presentation it can be analysed that different classical theories only
focuses foe development of employee as economically and physically.
 In leadership style the best style is democratic leadership style as it help the
organisation to work in team and enhance the employee to suggest creative ideas.
