Task 5.2 First Session - Scenario 1
Your first session will be delivered to a simulated group from Julie Smithers’ real estate office. You are
required to choose a unit from the learning program that you created for Julie Smithers in the design cluster
booklet and imagine that Julie’s entire team would like to join in on one of the sessions with Julie.
The admin team consists of:
• The Administration Officer(Morag)
• Administration assistant(Julie)
• Sales team co-ordinator(Bryan)
• Rentals co-ordinator(Elizabeth)
• Trust Accounts officer(Charles)
They are all enthusiastic and keen to learn. With the exception of the Administration Officer, all have only
recently left school and for them this is their first job. When Julie told them, she was about to undertake some
training in organising meetings, because they are all keen to learn new skills, they decided to approach Morag,
the Administration Officer requesting that they all be permitted to undertake this training. Seeing how this
knowledgecouldbenefitnotonlytheemployeesbuttheorganisationasawhole,Moraghasagreedtothis
request,althoughshe’snotsurehowthiswillbeimplementedgiventheconstantinterruptionsintheoffice.
You are required to deliver the session and fill out the session plan in accordance with your proposed session
content.

teaching style in order to maintain momentum of the program?
The learners were distracted.
☐
3. In your opinion how successful was the work-based pathway in achieving the
objectives of the client? Why?
It was highly effective because the feedback session was conducted where all the team members
were able to learn appropriately.
☐
4. How did you as the trainer demonstrate ethical behaviour at all times?
It was easier because I have inculcated the ethical behaviour by myself.
