In management, a classical approach has its major focus on how the organisation can get its set
objectives and goals irrespective of employee state in terms of requirements and hence
satisfaction, as long as the enterprise is successful, that is all that employers intend towards. In
management, contemporary approach can be described as when organisations have faith in
teamwork and working together to attain bigger things.
The managerial role has been altered in the classical approach to control their staff; they adopt
bureaucratic leadership style with the aid of set rules passed. In contemporary approach,
democratic leadership style is being used by managers.
In the past five years, the major factors impacted business scenario and force modifications in
organisational management theory comprise; new technological advancement, company
expansion on global level, resource availability, all allow corporates to produce products in extent
with availability of human labour and natural resource.
In this 21st century, organisation theory is significant as it enables employees of the company to
get their requirement met and resulting satisfaction of employee lead the organisation to be
successful with improved production in extent with the performance that attains from training.
In promotion of managerial success, it required managers to be creative and innovative to big
ideas, attain good communication skill as it enables them to provide instruction to their staff and
them being trustworthy and honest to build well superior-subordinate relations at work.
As employees, yes they are supposed to report to managers, as they are the main senior
management in the organisation for instance and every small decision or discussion relating to
the organisation they should be made aware of. Yes, good managers need to adopt the above
skills for them to be effective at their work.
Considering the skills above, it can help in their careers with showing a direction or a sort of
guideline in theory of what they should put on in real life when administering other staff at work,
therefore, making the whole experience more practical and logical.
