INTRODUCTIONOperation administration is essential for every kind of company because any type ofproblems can be face by them while they are producing items for people (Operations andProject Management (OPM), 2017). Manager needs to reframe their strategies if there workingprocess is not much appropriate; therefore, they can enhance their working. Basically, it isrequired for a firm to organise their entire exercises in an effective manner; thus, they canmanufacture products adequately. Ford is an enterprise which is established in United Kingdom.They are doing their business in auto mobiles sector and producing luxury cars. Almost 166,000individuals are working with Ford. Fundamental purpose of this report is to determine roles aswell as functions of manager and along with this leader. Some of factors are going to discuss inthis report which can provide impact to decision of Ford motor company either directly orindirectly. Thus, it is needed for superior to make control on all factors. As a result, anassociation can do their work appropriately and accomplish their objectives within minimumperiod of time (White, 2016). TASK 1P1 Roles and characteristics of leader and managerIt is essential for an employer to control their organisation efficiently. Manager has todecide objectives and goals for their employees; therefore, they can fulfil it within limited timespan. It is required for superior to develop policies for their labours and they have to followthem. This will assist them to take judgements in an effective way (López and et. al., 2015). Rather than this, leader are those person who motivate their group individuals. They needto direct their subordinates; thus, they will do entire work adequately. Leader needs to resolveissues timely; as a result, they will fulfil their objectives and goals without delay.According to Anvari-Moghaddam, Monsef and Rahimi-Kian, (2015) “Management isconsider as a science and an art; hence, people will complete their work effectively as well asefficiently.”According to Haimes, (2015) “Pioneer is a person, who complete their task with full ofconfidence.
