INTRODUCTIONManagement operation can refer as the practice of the management activities of thebusiness in order to create the high level of the efficiency within the any organisation. It alsoconsist the transformation of the raw material and labour into the gods and services that can helpto maximise the profit of the organisation. The study of the management operation is based onthe Sainsbury organisation, which is one of the largest supermarket chain of the united kingdomwith having the share of 16.9% in the supermarket sector. It serves its services by 1,415 shops innumber of location worldwide. The study of the management operation will explain thedifferent roles and characteristics of the managers and leaders in the company. This will alsodescribe the role of the leaders and function of the managers in the different situation of theSainsbury organisation (Steelman and Wolfeld, 2018.). Further more this file will explain howmanagers and leaders deal with the situation by applying different theories in the organisation.Roles of the operation mangers will also be described in order to improve the efficiency anddecision-making process. This file will further explain the importance and value of the operationmanagement in order to achieve the overall organizational objective. Lastly it will include anddescribe the factors that influence the decision-making system of the management operation ofthe Monmouth restaurant. LO 1P 1 Difference between roles of managers and leaders Leader is that person in the Sainsbury organization, who inspire, motivate, encourage andinfluence their team members and the other subordinates in order to achieve the task effectivelyand within the time (Penuel and et.al., 2018). Whereas manger is the one who manages all theresponsibilities, operations, and also responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and controlthe Sainsbury organisation. They both have different roles and responsibilities to play in theSainsbury organisation in order to increase the profit maximization of the company and smoothoperation of the Sainsbury company. Leaders of the Sainsbury create thestrategies with help of their teammembers, so that team members canfollow and work accordingly to reachthe target of the Sainsbury.that goals are being played andachieved by the leaders of theSalisbury.Another role of a manager of theSainsbury, is to motivate all theemployees and staff and help to createsuch healthy environment thatemployees of Sainsbury can workeffectively.Managers of the Sainsbury, provide thetraining to their employees, this givethe better understanding of their work,and helps to increase the productivity ofemployees. Another role-played by the manger ofthe Salisbury is, they evaluate andmonitor the strategies and performanceof the employees.
