Following the Job characteristics model analyze your job and find the MPS. Write the equation, analyze your results, and answer the following questions:
1. How can your job be improved? Explain in detail how, and which characteristic would be impacted by the change.
2. Are job enlargement or job enrichment viable options to improve your MPS?
3. How satisfied are you with your job? How does this relate to the growth-need?
4. Do you think improving the MPS would help motivate other people doing the same job?
5. Do you think the mechanistic approach to job design would be more helpful in analyzing your job? Why?
