Evaluating the sources of problem and suggesting solutions
The problem of absenteeism, high staff turnover and poor levels of staff performance
affects the company. Employee absenteeism means that the employees of the company
frequently remains absent at the work. High staff turnover means that the employees leaving the
organization rate is high and the phenomenon is common to the organization. Poor levels of staff
performance means that the staff at company is not efficient affecting the overall productivity of
the firm (Ma and Ye, 2019). These problems creates the following issues with the organization:
Low productivity: employee absenteeism, high staff turnover and low staff performance
affects the productivity of the company.
High costs: staff turnover rates being high means that the company requires to appoint new
staff members in place of the left members. This is done by recruitment and selection
process followed by the training and development processes. Carrying out these processes
results in increasing costs and time consumption of the company.
Employee Morale: With more number of staff members leaving the organization the morale
of the existing employees suffers a lot making them re considering their decision to work
with the organization.
