INTRODUCTION
Managing a successful business project is essential in attaining desired outcomes and
goals through a project. Project manager play an important role in conducting any particular
project by undertaking various resources for the purpose of getting positive results. The business
project manager conducts planning, organising, staffing, directing and controlling to achieve
predetermined goals or objectives. In the modern era, digitalisation are being adopted by every
business entities to operate their function in smooth manner (Bakker, 2011). It is beneficial in
storing or processing of data by using several digital tools, devices and systems. In this included
online games, cloud computing, software, productivity, and mobile devices that facilitates to
make entire business operations in well manner. This report is based on Ensoft Ltd which is
software company and provide various networking services or internet solutions in the UK. This
assignment will define about use of technology within firm by conducting project. In this prepare
a proper project management plan, using resources and Gantt chart. There will carry out research
and apply methods to meet requirements.
PART 1
P1 Aims and objectives of project
There is required to define aims and objectives of particular project study which are to be
conducted. The main aims of this project is to analyse the impacts of digital technology within an
organisation for running business activities and function in effective manner. In the present
scenario, digital technology play crucial role in every business enterprises for achieving set
targets and goals in an adequate way (Crane, and Matten, 2016). It support in managing entire
activities and record, keep and store data of organisation by using available resources in well
manner. Digital technology is beneficial in all organisational functions such as human resources,
marketing, information technology, finance, production and operations and many others to run
effectively and accomplish goals. It is also suitable in communication process through mobile
technology, social media, email that facilitate to connect each individual with business activities.
It support to firm in staying connect, build good relationship, communicate, coordinate and
collaborate at global level.

Digital technology is helpful to bring changes within firm and create positive working
environment for the employees. Many of organisation considered various tools and techniques as
well as digitalisation for improving performances and produce better quality of goods and
services to meet customers requirements. This research project is related with digital technology
as how it impacts on the business activities and achieve sustainable advantages as well (Crane,
2016). Ensoft Ltd is small firm which deals in providing various networking software, internet
solution and many other applications to the people in UK. They required to considered artificial
intelligence for their business and adopt more technologies to serve better to the targeted
audiences. They can use best Artificial Intelligence technologies for creating innovative software
applications and satisfy customers desired expectation. It includes Natural Language
Generations, Virtual Agents, Machine Learning Platforms, Biometrics, Tax Analytics and
Robotic Process Automation etc.

digital technology to make entire operations in adequate way (Matten, 2016). It is essential in
managing and maintaining organisation performances by considering various tools or techniques
so that competitive advantages can be accomplished. Therefore, project management plan must
be required to analyse digital technology impacts on the business. In the planning process,

blueprint of project is to be undertaken in which contains project cost, scope, risk, resources,
quality, and communications which required to implement plan. These are essential in making
project successful by managing entire activities so that best possible outcomes can be
accomplished. These are mention below in detailed forms such as:
Scope: The major scope of this project is to develop business with performing whole
activities and function in an effective manner. In this determine digital technology and its effects
to operate business activities so that they can achieve competitive advantages. Project manager
consider the scope for improving performances and adopt best Artificial Intelligence
technologies such as Tax analytics, learning platform by artificial neutral networks with multiple
abstraction layers, decision management regarding AI systems which useful in setup training and

implementing plan so that they can meet business objectives. They undertake budget, expenses,
resources for completion of project and achieve predetermined goals or objectives. It is necessary

several project activities so that maximum outcomes can be get. Ensoft Ltd can focus on
adoption of technologies regarding artificial intelligence for completing various task or work in
limited period. There are required adequate funds to meet the requirements of business.
Time: For the project completion, proper time frame and schedule required. Project
manager undertake the accurate time which are needed to accomplish aims or objectives in an
effective manner (Müller, 2012). Ensoft Ltd can adopt digital technologies and improve artificial
intelligence by better project, and Critical Part Method will be suitable for identifying required

aims or objectives. There are required to measures the quality factors that facilitate to bring

software application and internet solutions in the marketplace (Eweje, 2012). They can
considered artificial intelligence for improving performances so that maximum outcomes can be
get. It is not easy to adopt such technologies because major risks or circumstances can be
occurred regarding insufficient funds, lack of resources, conflicts among employees and other
issues.
Communication: Project manager has to be ensure regarding proper communication and
awareness among people who directly and indirectly involved in this project. It is necessary to
adopt best communication process for spreading informations create awareness about adoption
of technologies within organisation among individuals. Communication is beneficial in
implementing the plan and achieve set targets in an adequate way. Project manager can consider
telecommunication, social media, E-mail and many others for communicating with others in
quick manner.
Resources: There are required adequate resources for performing any tasks or works in
effective manner so that particular goals can be accomplished. Manager of project should be
ensure regarding available resources that needed for completion of project (Turner and Müller,
2012). Digital technology must be adopted by the Ensoft Ltd which assist in increasing
productivity and profitability as well. Resources should be considered while formulating plan of
project management so that manager undertake manpower, tools or equipments, land, capital and
other resources etc.
P3 Produce work breakdown structure and Gantt chart for project
A work breakdown structure is defined as the deliverable oriented breakdown of project
into smaller components within project management. It is essential in organising team's work
into manageable sections. Work breakdown structure included several elements such as product,
data and services for completion of particular project in an appropriate manner. A WBS is
beneficial in providing effective framework including detailed costs, time, controls and
guidances as well. Project manager undertake work breakdown structure for dividing task into

small group of people as per their abilities and skills in an adequate way so that better outcomes
can be achieved. Therefore, it is necessary to identify employees skills or abilities for the
purpose of completing any task or specific work to accomplish set targets.
Gantt chart is defined as bar chart which describe about project schedule in well manner.
This chart consist various tasks and work that to be performed as per vertical axis, and time
interval on the horizontal axis (Fisher, 2011). These represent the graph that show the duration of
each activity within project. It illustrate starts and finish dates of the terminal aspects with
adequate summary of project in effective way. Gantt chart generally used in the project
management which is essential in showing activities and displayed against time as well. Project
manager can use this chart to represent the proper timing and schedule of particular project so
that best possible result can be get in an efficient manner. They can identify appropriate time
frame which are to be undertaken to analyse the impacts of digital technology and how it can be
fruitful in enhancing productivity or profitability in the Ensoft Ltd. With the help of Gantt chart,
project manager can assign task with allocating resources among different activities for
achieving goals or objectives as per the time duration.

solution in better ways. It is considered as set of procedure for analysing digital technologies and
its effects to increase productivity within organisation. Project manager consider the research and
conduct survey by which more relevant data can be gathered (Keller, 2011). In this, they
undertake various methods of getting informations and use them to make better organisational
decision in an efficient manner. Ensoft Ltd is focusing on adopting more effective artificial
intelligence technologies that facilitate in reducing costs and time as well as increase in work
productivity efficiently. It will be helpful in generating higher profits and create better position
among competitors in the marketplace. There are some methods of data collection that can be
undertaken for mini-research such as:

affected towards new digital technologies and changes in artificial intelligence in the
organisation. In this, it can be find out that how people react if digital technology
adopted within workplace (Parameswaran, 2011). Natural language generation will bes
beneficial in producing text from the computer data. Speech recognition also can
increase productivity that facilitate in transcribing and transforming human speech into
that format that useful in computer applications. Some of most important components of
qualitative research are observations, group discussions, meetings, interviews and many
others.
 Quantitative research: in this method, researcher collect relevant data and informations
in the numerical and statistical form for the purpose of making correct and accurate
decisions. In this included several methods for identifying the adequate result and find
possible solutions such as mathematical, numerical, algorithm, and computational forms
for gathering more data and informations. Researcher can find accurate data and get
better results so that manager can compare these data and find ultimate solutions in an
effective way.
In this, qualitative research is used by company because it will help in collecting and
gathering accurate data and information. It is best tool for analysing and examining respondents
view, perspectives and opinions, behaviour and attitude while conducting research project. This
is used for developing accurate decision for the welfare of an organisation. There are various

hardware, virtual agents and many more. These are essential in improving employees
performances, create positives workings environment by reducing work stress and utilise
available resource in smart way. Company can achieve long term benefits for longer time period.
P7 Reflection
As per the above project, I have learnt many of things regarding conducting project and
manage it to achieve business goals. I analysed that how digital technologies are effective in
enhancing growth and develop sustainability. Company can generate higher revenues or
profitability by increasing sales figure. I also learnt about use of Gantt chart and work breakdown
structure that applied for identifying time frame. It will be beneficial for me to conduct any
research by using various methods and form questionnaires to collect more data or informations
in an adequate way. This project is also help me in determining the artificial intelligence and use
of digital technology to increase profitability as well as productivity in well manner.
CONCLUSION
From the above project report, it has been summarised that digital technology must be
adopted by every business organisation for accomplishing set goals or targets in an efficient way.
Ensfot Ltd is providing several network software in the marketplace. They undertake artificial
intelligence for improving business performances and enhance productivity of an organisation. In
this defined project management plan and proper structure to adopt digital technology withins
organisation. It also consider the work breakdown structure and Gantt chart for scheduling the
project and achieve set targets or objectives in effective manner.
