INTRODUCTION
Globalisation has made businesses across the world to consider the impacts which it is
having on its business functions. The study is focused on factors such as economics, culture and
ethics have greatly seen to be influencing the organisations growth and development. They tend
to have both positive and negative impacts on the organisation. The positive impacts include rise
in profitability, leading up in organisations development etc. and the negative impacts often make
the organisation suffer from its growth and development and tends to lead towards less
profitability issues (Hillson, 2017.).
The report will cover and show about the different types of research methodologies in
order to know the positive impacts of globalization on operational and different functions of
Jaguar company. Jaguar British car manufacturer was founded by Jaguar land Rover in 1935.
Business is greatly influenced by globalisation as they can gain opportunity to operate and trade
across the borders. Different types of research designs, types and methodologies help researcher
in achieving their predetermined goals and objectives with effectively.

Background
Globalisation is an integration and interrelationship of business or people across
international boundaries (Baars and et.al., 2016). It is an effective approach for growth and
development of business because while operating on large scale it has become important for the
businesses to identify and observe those factors which are impacting its growth and development.
It can help the businesses to ensure in what ways they should deal with these impacts and how
effectively they should make use of their resources to ensure the organisations growth and
development in the age of globalisation (Young, 2016).
This present study is based on the positive economic, cultural & ethical impacts of
globalization on all functional units of Jaguar company. In the context of business, globalization
is an important topic as it has various positive and negative impacts on profitability, operations,
sales, market shares etc. In this study and research, researcher will identify and determine all the
factors that may have impact on its operations and activities. Jaguar is one of the important car

manufacturer company (Barnett, 2015). At some stage they have to face various types of
situations and some of them can provide them opportunities. For achieving opportunities it
analyse all the factors by different research types. Jaguar is a British multinational car
manufacturer company. Headquarter of this car manufacturer company is in Whitley, Coventry,
England. The main reason of selecting and choosing this company is that this company has
always stood for its beautiful designs and engineering excellence. The main ability of this
company is quality in order to repeatedly achieve specification.

Rationale
Globalisation has various impact on the performance and activities of an organisation.
The main aim of this research is to identify and determine the positive ethical, economic and
environmental impacts of globalisation on functions of the chosen company (Baylis, Smith and
Owens, eds., 2017). The main reason of selecting this topic is, Globalisation is a wide term and it
consists of various factors like technological, political, economical, difference in tax system,
issues related resources and market and other problems that have a significant impact on the
sales of the company.

In research, project management plan play a crucial role. This project management plan is
defined as a document that supports and guides execution as well as control of project. This plan
involves some elements that helps the company and researcher in creating this plan in an

effective manner such as: communication, risk, resources, schedule, quality and standard for
scope (Kerzner and Kerzner, 2017).
Cost: In research, cost and budget play a crucial role as it is important for scholar to
estimate and plan the budgeted cost that is required in completing the study and research. By
making this plan budget, researcher can easily carried out its all the activities in an effective
manner (Beck, 2018). For this present research, researcher requires estimated £5500 in order to
achieve its aims and objectives as globalisation is a broad topic.
Quality: Quality is also the main element in making project management plan in order to
remove all the errors and solve the problems which occurs in research. It is very important to
have authentic and reliable data which are being collected by the researcher in order to maintain
the quality ( Larson and Gray, 2017).
Resources: For conducting research effectively, it is essential; to utilize all the adequate
resources in a systematic manner. The main reason of utilizing adequate resource is to make
successful research and prevent research from affecting in any manner. Resources for research
includes stationery items, laptop etc (Bossle and et.al., 2016).
Communication: Communication also play a vital role as it prevent from
misunderstanding and help the researcher in gathering and collecting accurate data. For making
the present research successful, it makes use of E-mails, circulars etc. Effective communication
is called the backbone in conducting research, so it is very important for scholar to focus on
selecting the best mode of communication.
Risk: Globalization have various impacts on the operations and functions of an
organisation. So it is very important for researcher to analyse and determine all the risks and
problems that may impact and affect the profitability of an organisation and research. It is
important to proper analyse for maintaining effectiveness of the research and study (Schwalb,
2015). Some common risks which can occur in research including security issues, theft of
personal data and informations etc.
Scope: Scope of project helps researcher in defining its objectives and goals. It also helps
them in determining requirements of quality and the standard of the final outcomes. The scope in
the project defines the milestone as well as key derivables. The researcher will identify negative
and positive aspect of the globalisation in the study (Hillson, 2017). For that purpose market
knowledge is essential. The scope of research is based on the study of Jaguar, thus, researcher

scope as investigator will conduct research with the Jaguar company. Scholar will also determine
the future forecasting of the strategies developed by the manager of the organisation (Brannen,
Piekkari and Tietze, 2017). This will direct the study in accurate manner with accurate facts and
figures to understand the scope of globalisation for the selected industry that is Jaguar.
Time: This is the most necessary element in the project management plan. Managing
time effectively is essential in order to complete the research project on targeted time and to
bring forth desired result (Young, 2016). The present study will be completed within a particular
set of time period. Researcher stated that the completion of the project take time from 3rd of July
to 15th December. In the specific time, researcher will develop schedule of all the necessary
activities and analyse them on daily routine basis.
Resources: In this project's planning and execution, there is huge amount of investment
is required. Researcher stated that few resources will require for the project are; human
resources, skills, various communication devices, capital, knowledge and other equipment. In the
present research report, scholar is planning to implementing the business resource planning
software that help by providing resources distribution in an effective manner.

parts. WBS is the tool or technique that manages the work into more performing manner and

Research methodology is a systematic process that is used by the researcher to collect the
information and data in order to take effective business decisions. The research methodology
involve observations, surveys, face to face interviews, publication research, other research
techniques that enable scholar to conduct the research in effectve way (Kerznerand and Kerzner,
2017). Furthermore, it help make researcher able to understand about various research methods.
Research Philosophy
Research philosophy is refer to the belief regarding the wey in which information is
collected, analysed and used. It utilise by the scholar in order to have an awareness and they can
formulate their assumption as well as belief. It deals with the nature, sources and development of
knowledge.
Research Philosophy is categorised in four parts such as; Pragmastism, Positivism,
Realism and interpretivism. Researcher will select the specific research philosophy for the
research that impacted by practical implications. Pragmatism mainly accept all the concept that is
relevant to the study and it also component of the combination of both Interprevetism and
positivism within the scope of single research according to the nature of research questions. On

research starts or based on the facts and figures. Present study uses Inductive research approach
method to analyse the different opportunity and task or also conducting the different opportunity
and goals to bring the advanced services and growth.
Research design
Research design is refers to the method that is used by the researcher in order to gather
and analyse the measures of variable that help the scholar to resolve any issue regarding research.
It is the process that is implement to combine various component of research and enable the
scholar to handle them effectively.
Research design can be categorised in two parts; Exploratory and Conclusive.
Exploratory research design is developed to explore or search through any situation or problem
situation that help the scholar to provide an insight (Schwalbe, 2015). Conclusive design help the

In the present research study, scholar selected Descritptive research design that is a part
of conclusive research design. This will help the researcher to gather the accurate information as
well as to reach the aim and objective.

order to find research problem solution. In other words, it a systematic approach to collect and
measure data through many sources to get a complete and accurate picture of the study. The main
aim of this process is to have control over all the evidences and information that help in answer

There are generally two types of data collection method; Primary data collection method
and secondary data collection method. In primary data collection method, scholar gathered
information on their own for the first time. This can be done through; survey, interview, etc.
primary data are original in nature. On the other hand secondary data collection method is refers
to the method of information collection through various available sources such as; by books,
articles.
In the study, researcher use both secondary and primary data collection method To
examine positive economic, cultural, and ethical impacts of globalisation on marketing and
operation function of the business.
Data Analysis
Data analysis is the another most significant research method which conducted by the
data collection from different techniques or methods. Researcher uses this research methodology
for conducting the information into more deeper manner. Data analysis presented the study into
more explaining and leading manner in order to take out the data interpretation and fine results
from the research. Furthermore, all the information and data has been conducted or formulated
by two methods Qualitative data analysis and Quantitative data Analysis.
Quantitative data analysis method is the method or techniques which analyse the data
with the help of mathematical form which also creates and use the numeric data form. This
method includes calculations of frequencies for variables and differences between variables.
This method either support the data or reject the hypotheses which is formulated by the different
stages or time. This report will also considered to take quantitative data in order to measure the
actual results from the research by supporting thematic representation to analyse the final aims
and objectives.
Qualitative research data analysis method does not involves any calculations and
statistical data to determine the study and goals. Along with that, it also helps to get the data into
thematic manner and growth with best enthusiasm and research approach. In other words,

qualitative method of data is more easier than quantitative method. This method or data
interpretation can be define from the long lasting way that helps to measure the long term results
and goals. Present research will be taking qualitative tool to analyse the final results and goals to
measure the exact outcomes by supporting the open ended questions.
In order to conduct the present study and fulfilled the research aims and objective
researcher will uses qualitative data analysis tool by the help of thematic interpretation along
with tables and graphs.
Sampling
Sampling is the concept which is based on the specific principles in order to choose the
number of respondents included in the study. However, the whole study explained the different
opportunity and goals to measure the all task goals and results. Sampling is the best tool or
method that helps researcher to selects the number of participation members who will going to
contribute its won views for the research by the structured form of questionnaire. Sampling is of
two types probability sampling and non probability sampling method.
Probability sampling method is the method which allows every everybody to take
participation in the stud. Further, probability sampling method includes simple, stratified
systematic, simple, multistage and cluster sampling method.
Non-probability sampling method selects the limited number of participation or group
which liable to select the study into best possible manner and growth strategical manner. Non-
probability sampling therefore not each not each population member has a chance to participate
in the study and goals. Present study will be uses probability simple random sampling method by
selecting the 20 employees of Jaguar to conduct the study into more deeper manner.
Ethical consideration
Ethical consideration is the application which necessary to be followed in order to ensure
the safe and secure data and research to conduct the study more frequently and effective in order
to deal with enlarging leading performance goals. Besides, that research participant should not be
subjected to harm in any ways whatsoever. The main concern of the research is that its all data
has to be secured and legal in order to be the most enlarging effects and goals. Apart from that it
also helps to break the different opportunity and goals that brings the best result outcomes. Such
as researcher should also needs to protect the respondents details in order reduce the chances of

misshapenness. In order to reduce the or address or leading challenges will help to define the best
outcomes and better research results.

the organisations (Crane and Matten, 2016). Overall, study explained about the concept of
globalisation and also outlined the positive economic and cultural and ethical impacts of
globalisation on marketing and operational functions. Besides, Research also outlined the
research aims and objectives which brings different new ways to perform the work into more
effective manner. Researcher explained the overall study by the help of given concepts supported
by the secondary research. It has been determined from the survey questionnaire that how much
globalisation and its positive culture, economy factors impact on the company functions. In order
to conduct the whole study, researcher used different research methods and techniques to conduct
the question survey.
It also analysed by the survey that maximum number of respondents were think that
globalisation is the good opportunity for the Jaguar to expand the business operation and get the
high brand recognition at international level. Besides that, it also helped to get the high
opportunity and gain in order to fulfil the management task. Besides, it will help to determine the
long term goals and brings the new opportunity task and effective learning goals. Besides that,
researcher also conduct questionnaire survey by 20 employees of Jaguar. In other words, for
Jaguar it has been given positive review to the outcomes and growth. However the study also
explained and discussed about the whole research by the help of project management plan.
Project management plan helped out to measure the following activities and also brings the

project budget, resources, time, schedule, quality etc. Overall, study also discussed about the
work break down structure and Gantt chart that helps to show the proper level and flow of the
work in an appropriate manner. However, the whole research described the concept of
globalisation and how it affect the company operational or marketing functions.

In order to conduct business activities and operation function at international market.
Company has to ensure about the factors that affect the business functions in different context. In
other words, All such factors are highly affected by the changes in the policies. Basically,
globalisation is the process to integrate the societies and economies (Gopinath, 2018).
However, Jaguar also need to measure some new strategies and techniques through which
company can strengthen its economy, political and ethical aspects. Such as in present business
scenario the concept of sustainable development is new and trendy which develops the long
lasting ways and fulfill the major task and organisational performance. Such as Jaguar can also
adopt the working criteria to ensure the proper, safe and good life for all people. In order to
address ethical aspects for that company can also take another measures and long lasting
terminologies growth or the better opportunity and task. In order to full fill the business aims and
objectives company also need to focus on the external political factors to prepare the secure
business plan (Iqbal, Nadeem and Zaheer, 2015). Jaguar should always make sure the good
positive working culture in order to maintained the employee satisfaction and long term morale
to take the best outcomes and results.
For that, Jaguar also need to make sure the current political changes so that they can
fulfill the company aims and objectives. Company also need to make a good image in front of the
stakeholders. By having the good reputation and goodwill In the market it helps to deal with
different dynamic changes occurred in the organization. Jaguar should need to acquire effective
political action that fit to the business identity that helps Jaguar to engaged with political actions.

Throughout this study I have contributed my skills and knowledge to meet out the
research objectives (Najam, Runnalls and Halle, 2016). From this study I have gained several

knowledge and skills to enhance my career options and skills to conduct the further studies and
goals. All such methods and research process helped to achieve my future career goals. In
addition to that, I have also learned how to conduct survey questionnaire and how it will be
conducted to interpret the final outcome as well. Overall this study helps me to gained research
skills and critical thinking skill to measure the data (Rodriguez-Fernandez, 2016). Throughout
the above study, I used primary and secondary data tool to collects the overall data approach.
Besides that it also helps to control the long lasting results and goals to bring challenging task.
Overall study and present research helps to learn how to conduct qualitative research by applying
different techniques and targets.
I have learned so many things and approaches which explores the new identification
support to be more evaluating and challenging for me. I have learned how to imply new thoughts
and ideas that helps me for my future enhancement. Along with that, it generally explored the
deep knowledge on the globalisation. I have learned knowledge of project management which
some how helps me to make and better understand the deep goals of performing more better and
evaluating. I have learned the important aspects of project management plan and elements which
is essential to be performed effectively.
CONCLUSION
As per the above study and research it has been concluded the positive political, economy
and ethics impact of globalisation on different company functions. However, the whole study has
been discussed about the globalisation and its impact on the business operations. Along with that,
it also described about the factors that affect the business global factor. However, the study
