Title : Importance of multinational companies in recruitment and selection to meet internationalrequirements.INTRODUCTIONRecruitment and selection process such as job postings, applications and interviews aresimilar for a multinational company. Many of the multinational organization using approaches ofrecruitment & selection such as Domestic based philosophy in which recruitment done by thehome market basis. Across the countries substantial changes in skill needs are challenging labourmarket and training and contributing to skill mismatch and shortages. Present study will be baseon to determine the importance of multinational companies in recruitment and selection.However, the study will further discuss on different aspects that also motivates multinationalorganization to enhance the business growth at international market and also helps to improvethe better methods of recruitment and selection. LO 1P1 Devise aims and objectivesBackgroundGlobalisation and economic development increasing the opportunity for employees interms of different manner (Phillips and Gully, 2017). On the other side, recruitment & selectionprocess of employees also become difficult for the companies to select employees on differentparameters because of consist different culture, religion differences. Multinational corporationshave come up with new strategies and goals that makes the business more competitive. Presentstudy will explore the importance of MNCs in development of recruitment & selection.Multinational companies change its recruitment & selection policies just to enhance thework standards and competitive market position. However, somehow changes in globalizationaffect the business growth and ineffective maintenance charges. The reason behind that, growingemployee’s development can automatically produce the efficient productivity of employees aswell (Mahmood, 2015). Company OverviewNestle is the fast growing multinational company which operate its business on goodindustry. According to Nestle, they believe that continue development is the necessary changewithin the organization to generate the new competitive edge (Gooderham and et.al., 2015). As1

per the Nestle they believe on life long learning which shows the working as well the companystandards.Aims : “To examine the scope of multinational companies in improving the recruitment,selection and training process of the employees”. All of them have some merits and demerits. Recruitment fromexternal source is one of the best option. This is because in case of employee referral employeesmost often suggest their friend and many times they are not so talented. Such kind of practiceaffect firm which is not good for corporate.Contrary to this Mügge, (2016) state that employee referral is one of best option.Company can rely on those who are working in company from long time. Such kind of peoplecan suggest best candidates for company. Thus, through employee referral candidates that arehard working in nature and have proven track record can be hired.As per views of Heilman, Manzi and Braun, (2015) there are many skills that individualmust have and confidence is one of them. There are many people that have less knowledge but2

remain confident in every situation. Such kind of people easily learn new things. Thus, even onedoes not have much knowledge he must be confident.Contrary to this Dipboye, (2017) state that one must be excellent in communication andmust be innovative by nature. Such kind of employees prove real asset for the firm andcontribute a lot in its growth.P2 Project management plan.Scope : Scope of the study is the most essential component of project management that explainsthe purpose of the study. Scope of the study explore the project aims and objectives to otherteam-mates. For example : Present aim of the study is to identify the importance of MNCs inrecruitment and selection.Resources : Resources are the essential component without which research cannot beaccomplished (Kerzner, 2017). Resources such as people, equipments, materials etc. (Resources)facilitates and accomplish the research aims by gathering data or information and interpret thewhole data with the help of required techniques. Present required resources are Humanresources, capital resources, Technical sources etc.Quality : Researcher should measure the quality standards and make sure the research meet thatstandards and criteria. For example : Researcher has to collect authenticated data and facts forcollecting information multinational companies in the context of Nestle.Cost : Cost and estimate budget is the important aspect of the research that must be adheredwhile completing the study and goals. Every research take some cost to complete the process.For example : Estimated cost of the present research will be $450.Communication : Communication is the another essential component which helps to pass theinformation to other team-mates (Meredith, Mantel Jr and Shafer, 2017). In research process,each member should have to connect with other members just to share information. Sometimesdue to communication barriers it is difficult to accomplish the task on time which affect theproject deadline, cost, or scope of the study as well.Time : Time is the most affecting factor in the research process which must be focusing on.Every research or project has some starting and ending date which is vital. Specific time definethe work targets and its deadline to be completed. Present project will be taking approx 4-5weeks.3
