INTRODUCTION
According to rapid change in time, globalisation is playing an important role for both
small as well as large scale organisations. Companies can operates its activities due to
globalisation and it also gives a platform where they can communicate with various other
industries. Thus, it can be analysed that globalisation has supported companies in doing
expansion of their business operations in various other regions. Company taken in this present

research is Hennes & Mauritz, which is commonly known as H & M. It is a large fashion
company which design, manufacture and sell its product to retailers around the world. Company
is launching and marketing a summer shoe in London Fashion Week. Under this report, a short
research is being done for which aims and objectives is being made. Moreover, a project
management plan is also included so that a research person have an idea of tasks that are needed
to be done. Henceforth, according to this a valid conclusion will be given (Ahmed Dine Rabeh,
Jimenez-Jimenez and Martínez-Costa, 2013).
Activity 1
P1 Project aims and objectives
Globalisation is a method by which organisation perform its operations of business at an
international scale. This also affects organisations which are running on small as well as large
scale as they can do expansion and also revenue generation. Therefore, it can be stated that as
there is more interaction between people, business and government across different countries,
there is a increment in ratio of world's economy. Moreover, along with this there are different
globalisation factors such as economic, culture, etc. that impacts directly on various function of
organisation like marketing, human resource, production and more. This can either be a positive
or a negative impact. H & M is creating a new summer shoe along with 3D printing at an
affordable price for its customers. They launched their shoes in London fashion week where
there is a huge number of public coming to event. Moreover with this, it will be also beneficial to
organisation in popularising themselves in country through selling unique products to their
customers. Company is creating a brand which is different from their competitors and therefore
they can influence more and more customers. This will also lead to earning high profits and
income (Crane and Matten, 201 3).
Aim: “ To launch new new shoe in London fashion week in order to compete with big brand and
enhancing business profit”. A Case Study on H&M.
Objectives: Objectives: To enhance sales of Hennes & Mauritz by 10% within 6 months after
launching new summer shoe in event of London fashion week.

P2 Produce a project management plan
Project management plan is a type of proof which is approved and formal, that could be
utilised in order to manage and maintain project in an effective way. It is kind of a document that
is needed to create, explain, put together and collaborate different functions of planning in an
appropriate manner. Moreover, it will also provide information and details which are in context
with cost, risk, resources, communication and more in project. Here, related to H&M, this will
assist in taking and initiating correct decisions (Den Hertog, Van der Aa and De Jong, M 2010).
Along with this, it will be beneficial to companies so that they can analyse the affect in a positive
manner on ethical, culture as well as economic factors of globalisation in order to business
operations with aid of human resource, production, finance, operation and marketing. There are
various aspects of project management plan that has been described below.
Aspects Description
Cost It is important for every organisation to determine and incurred cost to
do the project in an effective way. Here, related to H&M, it is important
to analyse cost related to different operations of business such as
manufacturing shoes, labour's wages and many more activities. If the
cost will be predicted in a suitable manner than it will help in developing
an effective business plan that will help in successful implementation of
a plan. Cost of project can be near about 6000 by the researcher
(Eckerson, 2010). Since it is not possible to estimate actual cost of doing
expansion globally but organisation is required to incurred approximate
£100 million in order to effectively finish this project.
Scope This can be utilised in order to determine opportunities that are related to
concept of project in future time. This would be helpful for H&M, as they
can expand their operations of business and also make advantage of
opportunities which are being needed. They must determine impact of
different factors of globalisation so that they can wider their scope. With
this firms are able to provide good quality products and services to its
consumers. Main scope of this report is to determine different opportunities
that are beneficial in order to implement project in an effective manner
