CostCost is the expenses that coming out when researcher conducting particular research. There are many expenses occurred by nestle when follow a procedure of recruitment and selection because high quality equipment and procedure are used to provide training to the employees.Researcher has estimated almost£100while working on project. The cost of research is very high due to use of many techniquesandmethodsofdatacollectionlikeinterview, survey, etc. that will help in recruitment and selection of right candidates(Dittmar, 2015). ScopeSkilled and knowledgeable manpower play a very crucial role in acknowledging organisational growth and scope. It is necessary to hire right person at right place otherwise individual never perform his duties effectively. The scope of research is limited up to Nestle because company do not have sufficient time and resources to work on this project in a detailed manner. TimeTime is very important part of any research. In recruitment and selection company focuses on right person at right place at right time.It is estimated that this project will take time of 7 weeks (Glukhov, Ilin and Levina, 2015). If research is not conducted on proper time then it leads to wastage of human, finance and other resources of the company.

TASK 2 P4) Investigate the research by taking help of quantitative and qualitative approaches and methods RESEARCH METHEDOLOGY Research Methodology- It is generally concerned with the plans and strategies made for effectively conducting the activities of research. This process is used to gather and collect relevant information related to the topic of research. It guides investigator in understanding the research problem and also helps in finding appropriate answers for the research question. Research opinion also functions as the blue print because various methods are identified for conducting the research in efficient manner. It also helps the investigator in understanding each and every aspect of research topic in the systematic manner. Research onion- It is a systematic method used by the researcher for conducting research in the systematic and coordinated manner. Research onion consist of various parts which are discussed below- Research process- It basically comprisesof various actions and series which are used for conducting the research in the effective and efficient manner. With the help of research process each and every activity can be completed within specific period of time. The research process involves various stages which are carried out in a systematic manner. These stages involve- defining the research problem , review of literature, formulation of hypothesis, research
design, collection and analysis of data. By implementing these stages researcher will be able to identify solutions to the research problem(Nicholas and Steyn, 2017). Research philosophy- These are basically of two types interpretivism and positivism. Interpretivism is generally used to analyse and evaluate the data with proper assistance. While positivism is generally used when investigator tries to gather data by searching relevant sources. Data is this is collected through experiments, observations so that logical decisions can be taken. Research approach- The research approaches are of three kinds such as Deductive, inductive and Abductive. Deductive approach is related with assumption of data validity while on the other hand Inductive research is related with implementing and inventing new ideas for completing the research work in proper order and sequence. In inductive research new facts are analysed so that better conclusions can be drawn out from the research problem. Research Choice- This type of research generally consist of two factors which are qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative research is carried out by gathering data from group discussion, interview, survey, etc. While in quantitative research is done by collecting and gathering information from facts and figures. With the help of this method relevant information can be collected within limited period of time. Both these methodshelps in making necessary adjustments for the completion of research in the systematic and coordinated manner. Time horizon– It is necessary for investigator to plan activities of research in a proper manner. As by doing this research can be completed within limited period of time. Time horizon is basically used to plan and determine start and end time of the research. This can be done with the help of Gantt chart. Research design- It is generally used to plans various activities of research in a systematic manner so that logical decisions can be taken for the completion of research. Problems raised during the research can be solved easily with the help research design in the systematic manner. With the help of this researcher can easily analyse various aspects of research for taking appropriate decisions. Research design consist of three steps which include- data collection its analysis and interpretation. By using descriptive research in depth analysis of the research topic can be done for better conclusions(Polonsky and Waller, 2018). Sources of data collection- Data for research can be collected through primary or secondary source. In primary source researcher manages to collect data for the first time through

questionnaireor personal interview. While in secondary data collection method relevant information is gathered from different sources which includes- journals, magazines, etc. In this research data will be collected from both the sources. Research sampling-Sampling collection technique is of two types such as probability and non probability sampling. In probability sampling every sample has equal chance of being selected for the research process. While in non probability sampling sample is collected on the basis of capability of researcher. In this research probability sampling technique will be used. Data presentation and collection techniques- data in this research will be presented through charts, tables, graphs for interpreting the data in the appropriate manner. While data in this research will be collected through questionnaire, observation and interview. Research ethics-The data collected for this research will be confidential and it will not involve any unethical activities(Rowe, 2015). Research limitation-There are various problems and issues faced by the researcher in completing the activities in systematic manner. Some of the problems include- limited sample size, scope of discussion, etc. In this particular research, a Questionnaire is prepared in which different questions will be asked from 15 respondents. These people are selected on random basis and their opinion will be considered as the response of entire population. These respondents are employees and customers of Nestle.
