INTRODUCTION
Hospitality is defined as the sector which serves the purpose of providing facilities to
people in the Hotel industry (Rhou and et.al., 2020). Hyatt Hotels Corporation is a American
multinational hospitality company which franchises and manages by providing luxury to the
guests.
The report will analyse the performance management process which will help in
analysing the approaches of it in better way. Analysis will be done of the stages of team
development for the creation of high performance team within Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
Leadership in the 21st century within hospitality organization will be demonstrated. Causes of
conflict, conflict management skills and strategies within the leadership development process
will be analysed.
MAIN BODY
1. Approach to performance management process as a part of human resource development in
the hospitality industry
Approach to performance management process as a part of human resource development in
the hospitality industry consists of five steps which are described as follows -
Establish Goals — To achieve goals and objectives of the organization, effective and efficient
human resources should be encouraged to work towards it (Franco and et.al., 2020). The
performance of the employees affects the work which is done by them. Strategies should be
formed for the accomplishment of goals which will make the work more effective. These
strategies are framed at every level to which the work is being done effortlessly and significantly.
This is done by planning and forming proper framework for those strategies. This is done by
clarifying outputs and framing timelines for employees of Hyatt Hotels.
Develop a Plan — In this step, long — term and short — term needs are planned in the process
to analyse the situation in which will enhance the process through which human resource
development is able to identify the key aspects through which the planning is to be done. Human
resource planning is developed through the process when the employees are evaluated through
the performance.
Take action — The performance management process of the employees is done through this
approach of taking action. Learning and desired growth is achieved by the employees when the
