INTRODUCTION
The term event management can be defined as the process that is used for executing an
organised set of activities which leads organisation to complete an event in a successful manner.
Parties, meetings, trade show, conference and many more events are designed by organisation to
generate and implement right plan of action which is used in planning, organising, controlling
and managing all events in a successful manner. An event consists of various activities such as
decide of location, management of food and formulating right schedule for each activity of event
(Tricker and Tricker, 2014). This report is written from perspective of Kuoni destination
management that fulfils the demand of creative and complex projects with more passion through
providing specialised services in meeting and event industry. Moreover, the report highlights on
different categories of event using specific example and features and trends of event sector.

the differences
Event industry refers to provides accumulate of all individuals and groups that are prepared
for accomplish of particular purpose. For conducting each event in an organised manner
management of organisation evaluate as well as numerous dimension and categories of event. It
helps the business to keep all customer more satisfied manner which also influence and attract all
clients in future. Moreover, events are divided into three different categories that are explain as
follow:
Private events- The private events are organised at small level in which friends, families
and relatives are included (Theorin and et. al., 2017). Along with this private events are
managed for satisfying to fulfil needs of customers with specific reasons such as birthday,
marriage, official meeting etc. are managed under category of private events to make an
event more successful.

Charity events- With the organise of charity events the organisation such as Kuoni
