INTRODUCTION
Managing operations and projects is defined as to make a deal with both constant as well
as strategic business problems in an organised manner. There are many elements which are
involved in project management like making plans, organizing, motivating and also controlling
all kind of resources in order to fulfil all goals and objectives. In terms of operations
management its main responsibility is to direct as well as control all operations been performed
in business. In terms of project management the main reason behind it is to implement a
complete different product and service(VanArsdale, 2021). The below report includes project
scope management, time management which includes an activity base table, Gantt chart and also
a network diagram. The report also includes cost , risk and communication management
followed by project structure and appeal. The report is based on Bloomsbury institute. This
institute is a high education provider which is situated in London. It offers both undergraduate
and postgraduate degree in accordance with business management, accountancy as well as law.
MAIN BODY
Project scope management
It refers to the procedure which helps in deciding as well as representing overall list in
terms of project goals, tasks , budget and many more which is involved in the process of
planning only. It includes many things like exclusions, project deliverables, constraints and
assumptions.
Description of the project: - The report is about Bloomsbury institute which has decided to
organise a graduation ceremony. The ceremony will be conducted in November 2021. The
institute has decided a budget for that which is approx £7000 and length of project would not be
more than 3 months.
Project objectives: - The graduation ceremony is been organised for a particular reason. So, the
objective behind it is to do a celebration for all students who have achieved all needs whether in
terms of academic and curricular also. The main objective of project is to motivate their students
to enhance their skills and also create some amazing memories. Each student do hard work so
they expect that they will get appreciation for that so Bloomsbury institute also decided to
organise a graduation ceremony for them.

Project scope: - In graduation ceremony the scope was to create a effective ceremony within the
budget which is been set in order to become successful. Bloomsbury institute should be able to
conduct graduation ceremony within the deadline set and must be able to create efficiency.
Assumptions:- The assumptions in context with graduation ceremony are been explained as
below:-
The institute assumed that if they have invited 100 students in their ceremony all students
would be there to attend it.
It was also assumed that food offered to all students would be enough and will not be less
for them. The institute also assumed that all plans which they have made the graduation ceremony
will also be conducted according to that(Gordwin, 2021).
Constraints:- While organising any event many constraints can occur so in terms of graduation
ceremony it is explained as below:-
As institute decided to invite 100 students but constraint can occur that even half of them
didn't attended the meeting.
There can be another constraint also students may expect that they will get appreciation
in effective way but they may feel unhappy also after attending the ceremony. It may also happen that taste of food will not be proper as it was expected.
Roles and responsibilities:-
While organising an event there are many roles and responsibilities which had to be
performed by an individual or team who is responsible for managing the project and in terms of
graduation ceremony it is explained as below:-

Work breakdown structure:-
It refers to a structure which is involved in business procedure modelling and includes
various components like launch, design and also implementation and it is done so that whole
work can get monitored. As in case of Bloomsbury institute, they were organising a graduation
ceremony so they ensured that all staff members and students will be able to get a effective
learning environment. In context with institute the work-breakdown structure is been explained
as below:-

project time management involves network diagram, Gantt chart and activity base table. It is
been explained as below:-

Gantt chart:- It is defined as a bar chart which represents whole schedule of project. It is
designed in order to define planning as well as scheduling of various kind of projects so
that they can deal with tangled projects.
Network diagram:- It refers to a presentation which is represented in a visual way of
network. It involve all elements that initiates whole network and include devices, hubs
and many more.
Project cost management
It refers to a process of estimating, budgeting and controlling all costs in relation with
whole project life cycle whose main aim is to keep all expenses within the budget only.
Cost breakdown:- It is an analysis which represents each product cost involved in a project. It is
considered as a cost reduction strategy involved in a business(Füller, Hutter and Kröger, 2021)

schedule, cost and scope. In terms of Bloomsbury institute as they were organising a graduation
ceremony so they decided and evaluated whole cost in advance so that they do not face any kind
of financial conflict in future(Stevens and Newenham‐Kahindi,2021).
Project risk management
It is defined as a procedure which is performed for identifying, analysing as well as
reducing all risks that may happen to a project as it is completely possible to impact on results

ceremony it is been explained as below:- College management:- The interest level of college management is in relation with
having more students so that all facilities which are available should be acquired and
through this scope can also get enhanced. Students:- In order to develop career they need high facilities. So, certain benefits and
effective facilities should be provided to all students.

Government:- It means the whole group of stakeholders who has their name in
management but don't have much power to deal with all decisions. They have the power
only to deal with right decisions(Papajohn and El Asmar, 2021).
Communication plan:-
It is defined as a formal plan which includes a particular information and also determines
when an information should be provided and through which channels it will be provided. A
communication plan is necessary because through this all information would be defined in a
good manner and will be received by all parties.

diagram organisation made different assumptions and through this they achieved success. There
may be many risks also that organisation can face so for each task different people should get
appointed so that no problem occurs in future.
