which is one of the finest restaurant and cuisine in the United Kingdom. They want to inaugurate
this programme for attaining more and more profit. In this assignment various number of things
are described which are related with project in which initially researcher have to frame the aims
and objectives and then prepare a plan by using Gantt chart and network diagram. After this
researcher have to conduct a survey for identifying which is the most appropriate CSR operation
for the company. On the basis of research adequate recommendations also get derive and a
reflection also will be formulate.

Every research require some aims and objectives which are helpful in organising a
research in an adequate manner. They are helpful in conducting the investigation in right
direction so that adequate decision can be carried down. Thus, it is an essential duty of research
to identify the topic of their research and formulate the aims and objectives according to that.

hotel wants to conduct a research for identifying the impact of corporate social responsibility on
business. It is helpful for them, to gain sustainability and competitive advantage. There are few
of the organisations are identify which work in favour of society rather than the not for profit
associations. It is a major duty of every business to work for society as they are using society
resources and have to provide some part of their profit in return to them. On the basis of this
project, several number of things are identifying which are as follow:

their chances of effectiveness get increases (Cooper, Edgett and Kleinschmidt, 2012). This is
helpful in performing all the things in an appropriate manner. Thus, the objectives of this case
study on Hilton hotel are as follow:
 To identify the importance of CSR into a business.
 To measure the impact of CSR in gaining the sustainability and competitive
advantage
 To analyse the importance of CSR in meeting with sustainable objectives and
competitive advantage.

P2 Project management plan
A plan is an essential element which used to guide in working in right direction within
the values and policies. It used to reduce the chances of wastage and increase efficiency and
effectiveness of project (Dietrich and Lehtonen, 2015). Whole work has to get done according to

that. With every project, there are several things always associated with it. By better
understanding of all of them it makes the project and report more effective and attractive in
relation with decision making. Hilton hotel wants to incorporate the corporate social
responsibility programme for their business and in such consent they want to measure that is it
really helpful for an organisation in their betterment or not (Du Plessis, 2012). Along with this,
they also want to know about one of the best CSR activity which made most positive impact on
an organisation. With this project several things which are related with it are as follow:
1. Cost: It is defining as value which get incorporate on the project. It is in the term of
money which have to analyse by researcher so that management can provide appropriate
fund for that. For this research of CSR, 6000 euro incurs. It is most cost consuming
project and researcher have to use skills to use this budget in an appropriate manner.
2. Scope: The scope is related with existence and effectiveness of project. This should have
to determine in an adequate manner so that project get implemented in an adequate
manner. CSR scope is wide in nature as it provides the positive impact on business which
support an organisation in long period of time by generating more and more revenue for
business. Hilton hotel have to determine the scope of this project and then execute it in an
adequate manner by complying with all of its values.
3. Time: One of a major thing with every project is its time. Management have to provide
appropriate time for research and it is a duty of researcher to complete whole process in
well-defined time. This support in preparing the report more accurate and appropriate by
meeting with time requirement as well. Time duration for this research is 4 weeks or say
one month which is appropriate to conduct a small scale research.
4. Quality: Quality of work always matter. If the project has low quality research and its
analysis, then it will not lead to carried down at final stage of accuracy. Thus, research
has to use only such data which is appropriate and adequate in nature and have some
value for the project. This plays an important role in managing a successful business
project.
5. Communication: A proper communication about all the things have to done in an
adequate manner which is essential for business (Hornstein, 2015). Authority of hotel
have to tell everything about the project so that researcher can work properly. Along with

7. Resources: There are diverse number of things are use in project which have to assort by
a researcher and use them properly without wasting them. For this research data and
money are the two major resources which aid in organising this research properly.

better. By using them, an appropriate research gets done with all of its requirement.
P3 Work breakdown structure and Gantt chart use for project
Everything will not get done with combine and require to divide the work properly. This
project also requires to get breakdown into many smaller task so that proper execution take place
in an appropriate manner. For this consent two major approaches are used which are work
breakdown structure and Gantt chart. Both of them are helpful in performing all the things in an
appropriate manner. A basic description about both of them are as follow:
Work breakdown structure: Every project requires to divide all of their task into equal manner so
that it become effective in nature. It is a responsibility of researcher to done this thing properly
for high accuracy (Kerzner, 2013). Work breakdown structure support in division of task into
equal manner although overall burden will not put on an individual shoulder. This support in
framing a report which provide proper data, its analysis, questions framing and many more
things. It is requiring for such number of task which have multi functions to perform in an
adequate manner.
Gantt chart: With every project, it is essential to determine the start and finish dates which are
associated with it so that work get accomplish according to time. It provided by famous scholar
Henry Gantt in 1910 with a purpose to done everything on time. It is helpful for large projects
which are taking place in an organisation. It is a planning tool through which proper scheduling
of work done. It enables in determine the dependencies of task on each other. This research task
requires one month in its completion. Although Gantt chart will include all the activities with
their predecessors and number of days in their execution. Below is a Gantt chart which is used
for this research perspective.

which support in creating and gathering data in an adequate manner. Thus, researcher have to use
one of the best approach through which unit aims and objectives get ascertain in minimum
period of time with high accuracy. For this consent, two major research approach are identifying
which are: Primary research and Secondary research.
Primary research: This sort of investigation refers to as such process in which questionnaire,
personal interview is identifying. These aid in providing accurate data through personal

This research is based on the importance of CSR into a business because it enables an
organisation to gain the competitive advantage through operating several activities in favour of
society. Management can apply this approach in a business which support in sustain at keen
competitive market for long term. I learn many new things with the assistance of this research
project. I get to know about the impact of corporate social responsibility in a business through
which maximum attraction of society can be gain. Along with this, I learn how to formulate aims
and objectives for every project which support in working in an adequate direction. Moreover,
with the help of project management plan every sort of activity get direction and work in an
appropriate manner. I also learn how to conduct survey on several population and collect data
from that. With its analysis I came to know about the preparation of various themes and graphs
which are helpful in making the clear sense about data. Along with this, with the help of network
diagram and Gantt chart, I get the shortest path to cover this project. But apart from all these
things, few barriers are also identifying. Budget and time are the major issues which are related
with project. Along with this, with personal interaction many people show less interest in
providing their views and opinion. But at last this project become successful in nature for the
reference organisation.
CONCLUSION
It gets identify by this research project that every successful business project requires
several number of plan and procedure along with aims and objectives. These all things will
support in executing the project in well presentable manner. The use of Gantt chart and Work
breakdown structure will support in division of work according to time frame so that shortest
path of work get determine. By conducting a small scale research various thoughts and opinion
of different respondents get determine to make a valid conclusion about CSR impact on business.
On the basis of analysis, it gets identify that corporate social responsibility always support in
