INTRODUCTION
In current scenario technology plays a vital role in business activities across the globe. It has
become one of the pillars for enhancing the success rate of an organisation. Apart from that it
has given opportunity to small scale organisation to compete with large scale organisation on
same platform with efficient product and services (Porter, 2011). Ensoft Ltd. Is a small scale
organisation based in UK that was established in 1997 that majorly deals in providing network
related software to different organisation This assessment focus on usage of digital technology

by company in their administration, storage and distribution, production, communication etc. to
increase their competitiveness in business market. It will further discuss use of technology in in
analysing efficiency of their product in market through several qualitative and quantitative
methods and also used to determine the analysis of their work by breaking it into several
structures.
TASK 1
P1 Aims and objectives of project
This project is primarily focus on impact of digitization on organizational activities. It also
focuses on activities of Ensoft Ltd in market and guides them further to use technology and
innovative idea to improve efficiency of their product in market. This also guides organization to
effectively use technology in their manufacturing process so that can be able to compete with
bigger organization. Modification and advancement of technology is essential for company
because over the last few years they are efficiently working with product vendors of national and
international company especially UK. So further development of technology will organization to
develop their business in global competitive market
Topic: “The impact of digital technology supporting small business growth and
innovation”.
Project background - This project underline the contribution of digital technology in
managing business activities and gain technological advantage over other competitors. Adopting
technology varies from company to company but their primary aim to make profit by providing
excerpted quality service to their customers (Cavusgil, 2014). Ensoft Ltd has adopted efficient
technology in their business activities potentially so that they invest and contribute in making
their project work efficiently in business market. For achieving targets of organization, they must
have some aims and objectives so that they can plan and execute their strategies accordingly.

For management of project an organization must make sure that they can be able to maximise
their productivity by minimal use of resource so that they can be able to increase their
productivity. By potent use of technology they can be able to increase their capability in business
market (Eid, 2013). Technology helped in efficiently managing different activities in organization
by providing a detailed qualitative data so that better decision can be made. Ensoft Ltd can use
technological aspect to gain competitive advantage over competitor in market place. Cost- For better performance of their project Ensoft Ltd has to determine expenses and
costing, that will help them to plan better in managing different projects. Better
calculation of cost of product will aid organization to control costing of every product
that will help them to increase their revenue in business market. The company is
primarily dealing with software’s so they must know the actual cost of production so that
they can be able to determine right value for their product. For any organization it is
essential to analyses the value of their products so that they can be able to make efficient
planning in business market. Scope – Scope of Ensoft Ltd is to grow their business in different geographical location
and do profitable business for long term. For doing so they must plan and analyses their
business policy, budget, market scenario, customer demand etc (Laudon, 2016). As it is a
small scale business they will get more opportunity to do business in market because UK
government have planned to provide funding to small scale business to grow in business
market before the implementation of Bruit in business market. Time and quality – Management has to allot different time frame to their projects so that
they can complete their project on time. By providing accuracy and complete them in
desired time frame will allow organization to expand their business activities in more
corporate market. Ensoft is dealing in providing software solution to many countries so
by delivering their product at accurate time they Weill are able to increase their
dominance in many corporate business Ares across different geographical boundaries.
 Communication – For an effective project management manager need to adopt better
communication practice that will help in maintaining better communication between
different employees. Having better coordination will aid in discussing innovative idea or
adopt a better process that can be implemented in their project. Apart from

communication inside the organization the manager must focus on communicating with
their clients so that cab is able to understand need and wants of their customers so that
they can be able to produce vest quality of product.
 Risk and Resources – Putting innovative idea in business process will always be risky
affair. The efficiency of product in market can be defined by its popularity and amount of
revenue they have collected from their project (Fitzgerald, 2011). As Ensoft ltd is focusing
on delivering products in different countries they have understand some risk factors that
includes hacking, unethical use of data, unproductive software, and high complexity. So
that they have to plan effectively to increase productivity of their software in market.
These are some of the important aspect that has to be considered in planning a project in
business market so that they can be able to make potent product and with minimum cost of
production.

There are 2 techniques that that include Gantt chart and work breakdown structure that
helps in execution of project management plan for Ensoft Ltd. Applying this product in business
activity will allow them to fetch more customers from different market place.
Work-breakdown structure – It is a process that is used to hieratical distribution of product. In
other since it breakdown products into different parts so that they can deeply analyses and
evaluate planning for their projects (Peppard, 2016). Division of work into work packages,
deliveries and phases so that they can evaluate different approach to fulfill that test in desired
time frames. By applying technology in their activities company can be able to understand need
and want of customers and make their products according to their need. By using Work
Breakdown Structure Ensoft Ltd can potentially analyses demand of customer in different market
and make product according to their need and want. Through the work breakdown Structure
Company can divide development of software into different stages so that they can perform
testing and added feature if necessary to increase their potential in market (Hotho, 2011). For
example in recent trend technology has covered the business market, more and more company
utilizing it to check efficiency of their product and up to what extent it is effective to fetch more
revenue for organization.

Gantt chart – It is another tool in the form of chart that gives the pictorial view on
breakdown of project. It is widely accepted because through graph company can efficiently
examine the progression of every task. Ensoft Ltd has also used Gantt to a good effect in their
business activities so that they can easily evaluate progression of their projects. This chart
contain several factors that include identification of different element, literature review, layouts,
communicate, implement etc.

For example company has got contract form some organization to make software that is
used to connect different organization to only one server. So company will breakdown the
structure acceding to the feature they are adding to that software , lastly software will be tested
weather it is able to connect different division of software through cloud computing. So it can be
evaluated that the above factors helps organization to properly breakdown the progression for
developing their product so that they can make quality product according to wish of their
customers (Dezdar, 2011).

` Research means detailed analysis of a particular project or problem. Through adaption
different research methodology organization can analyses different issues and provide relevant
solution for them. This method is considered as one of the efficient techniques because most of
the analysis that has been performed is through scientific tools that are used to solve complex
problems software by considering many variables (Stokes, 2012). Ensoft Ltd use Questionnaire
method that will aid to analyses different factors related to their software.
Qualitative research – It is about understanding demand of technology by people and their
them response against them. This process involves collection of information by asking question
by clients or other concern people so they can be able to understand performance of their product
in market. Questionnaires can be asked through different medium in the form of images, videos,
words then they are analyses accordingly. Research methodology is also called exploratory
research that involves philosophical and theoretical approach in corporate environment. This
methodology also involves several factors that include geographical area, demand of their
product and advantage of their product so company can modify and enhance their productivity in
market place.
Quantitative research method – In this numerical data are considered and subjected to
sampling process that provides numerical output of data. The numerical data are easy to
understand and can be used for future references. Several quantitative approach for performance
of research is survey, experimental, regression, correlation etc.

unethical approach. There are several approaches that people feels that that are not legal and can
be scrapped from business activities of Ensoft ltd.

P6 Appropriate recommendation by analyzing the overall factor
The above report is all about technology and its impact on business activities of
organization. Technology has both positive and negative impact on the business practices that are
performed Ensoft Ltd. There are some positive aspects that are seen in organization like they are
using cloud computing in developing their software’s so that they can be able increase
effectiveness of their product (Teece, 2012). They have a team of 70 skilled engineers who are
very skillful to perform activities in organization. Apart from that the organization is having
some drawbacks they have to consider. The employee turnover in company is only 9% i.e. they
are not able to increase to retain their employees for longer period of time. Ensoft Ltd has to
work upon it to retain their skillful people. The ratio of engineer working in the organization are
not satisfactory has 87% of their engineer are male so it may affect the decision making of the
organization in future instead of that they must higher skill full women employers in their
organization. The sampling method that has been used in the origination is very satisfactory and

collection of data and feedback of customer are some of the effective work of organization. To
generate more knowledge and information about the future business market they have to take a
largest sample size for better analyses of data. The company has already made their mark among
several countries so they have further opportunities to invest new geographical area and make
profit from their business activities. As they are working in proving network solution they must
adopt the concept of artificial intelligence and cloud community in their business for enhancing
the feature of their organization. These are some of the recommendation that help will help
Ensoft Ltd to increase potential of their business activities so that they can be able to perform
better in future business market.

Technology place vital role in this world in the business activity of the organization every
organization can use technological aspect very effective in their business activity to get
competitive advantage in market to make effective product to sell them in market organization
must have some unique idea or feature so that I increase sale volume of in different geographical
region according to me before developing a product on organization developing a product on
organization must consider several aspect like a cost ,scope ,value ,communication and
uncertainty so that they can move efficient planning in develop their product i fell that using
technology tools in breaking down of project helps organization to perform their task efficiency
as that can be able to evaluate different factors that are needed for development of software by
proper monotony they can add feature to the product to have them more valuable (Zott, 2012) .
This has enhanced lien pushy feedback and help in retention of customer for longer time. to
analyses the demand and standing of product in market an organization must ensure that they
have to analyses different factor related to survey have found act that the questionnaire that has
being formed gives the clear picture of the standard of the organization in competitive market by
collection of customer feedback from different market on organization can be able to make
certain planning and strategy to implement technology in more potent way so that they can be
able to analyses and plan their business active to competitive market I am very impressed by the
quantitative approach the company has adopted to understand the business activities of their
organization. I have learnt to perform sampling method and Gantt chart that will be beneficial for
me in future business environment. This report has so much to explore that has helped me to
increase my learning experience apart from this I have anal used that how technology will impact
the future business market. Hence it is important for employees and employers to increase their
skills to contribute better in future business market.

From the above assessment it is conclude that technology is a crucial factor for development
of business in current business market It help in evaluator typical business concept with business
concept with ease and prove fanatical data. The technique are most widely used are Gantt chart
