INTRODUCTION
Marketing is considered as an important action taken by a corporation to attract an
audience to its goods or services via high-quality message. Marketing's long-term goal is to
demonstrate brand equity, establish brand awareness, and eventually increase sales by delivering
unique value to prospective and clients with information (Mintz and et. al., 2021). Along with
this, it is significant for company to serve quality services to its customers in order to attain their
positive experience. Present project is based on Vodafone, is a British multinational
telecommunication company that serve telecommunications and IT services to corporate clients
in around 150 countries. Report is going to discussed about marketing mix of different
companies to attain competitive success at market place. At last, marketing plan is also
developed with the aim of achieving market goals and objectives in an appropriate manner.

Marketing mix to the marketing planning process
A marketing mix is a collection of promotional tools or methods used to advertise and
sell products or services in the industry. It is all about selling its products and selecting where, at
what price, and when to market it. The market segmentation is described as the usage of a
marketing technique that mixes a number of functions in order to develop and establish a
manufacturer's brand and aid in the selling of the product or service. Product-based businesses
must devise tactics to promote their goods, one of which is developing a marketing mix. As,
Marketing or distribution of goods need special attention of the management because
development is meaningless unless products are available. The process of developing and
combining numerous marketing activities in order to assure the fulfilment of company goals is
known as marketing strategy. In this context, Vodafone is a famous company that operate their
business at global level with the aim of attaining competitive edge from its competitors. For
better understanding, there is comparison marketing mix among Vodafone and BT Group
(British Telecom). This can be understood by following points:

rates customized to distinct
product lines. Customers are
asking for the highest product
quality as mobile data and also
the demand for advanced
smartphones become a
requirement, and Vodafone
continues to provide it. As a
result, Vodafone-branded goods
and services are tailored to a
diverse variety of consumer
tastes and demands. Mainly, it
includes various product lines
such as Vodafone branded
phones, Smartphones, handsets,
voice and messaging service,
internet services and value-
added services and many more.
All these are assisting in
providing higher satisfaction to
quality services and products. BT
used to be the sole trader in the UK
market, giving them a strong
position. Through a combination of
old and modern technology, British
telecommunications has expanded
its product line, which now
includes consumer products. These
mainly comprise mobile
telephones, landline telephones,
fibre optic telecommunication,
digital tv, and information
technology services.
