PART A INTRODUCTION Personal effectiveness means try something different for everyone which is actually based on career, personal life and goals. It means by using all the resources that can be used at your own strength, weakness, strength, skills to enable the person to become a master of life and achieve work and life goals. In the workplace, there are many ways to improve the personal skills which are helpful for the individual to start the work in many ways. Mainly there are three main way to improve personal effectiveness which are work on the strength, know when to give a break and try to make a continuous learning and development (Abi-Jaoude and etal., 2017). All these things can easily increase the productivity, improved the level of happiness, stronger work relationship and reduce the level stress. In this report a brief case study is discussed on Sundar Pichai, chief executive officer (CEO) at google. He maintain his skills and abilities which make him a successful leader in the corporate industry. He is very polite and soft-spoken, he live a drama free life. All his ability make him a successful corporative leader in across the world. This report consists mainly two parts, first describe the detailed case study on the respected entrepreneur and outlined his skills and behaviour. In the second part, application based on personal effectiveness to the own development in order to make successful competitive job market. Different type of strategies are used to overcome the development gap and to improve the understanding of lifelong learnings. PART B Skills and behaviour of Sundar Pichai Sundar pichai is the chief executive officer of the world's largest search engine and he attained the popularity with his amazing demeanour, simplicity and dedication towards his work and work culture. He is most young entrepreneur and his polite nature and a great ability to stay away from office politics and drama and these skills helped him to work more and focus on his career growth and build a personality which influence other person also(Afflerbach, 2017).The successful CEO of google is a shy kid, and a bright student who complete his studies from Indian institute of technologies, Kharagpur. He share some wonderful ideas and innovation strategies which make him a successful person in the corporative industry. He has some major leadership skills and qualities which are humanity, avoid making enemies, develop the successful team, care
about your team and work hard to grow in the life. All these skills are must be develop by every individual in order to be a good leader. In the world of new and upgraded technologies, it is important to update yourself to cut the increasing competition. To deliver a new solution he always try to think out of the box, he said to all the other employees that to solve big problems you have to think on more broad concepts and try to be more ambitious to tackle the problems and their solutions. Pichai always try to explain that leaders should not to be focus on their own growth or success but they also have to pay attention for their employee's success(Annunziata, Mariani and Vecchio, 2019). A successful entrepreneur is the one who think lot about their employee and less about yourself, their main focus is on keep good people at work who have the abilities to solve all the hurdles and barriers which comes in the path of achieving objective. These are some techniques which are used by Sundar Pichai, in his own path. Furthermore, it is said that there is no worried or ashamed, to have the insecurities that an entrepreneur, and this issue or hurdle can be resolved while working with talented people and try to find out the new opportunities to learn and grow in individual career path. There are various qualities of google's CEO Sundar Pichai,which are having in Pichai and make him a successful leader: Humanity:Thismeanstodevelopthehumanity,compassion,understandingand willingness to make their peoples at their best productivity before having profits. When google fail to live up their ideal, CEO of the company decided to make some new rules and strategies which are helpful for the growth of company. Fearless:Mr. Pichai seems most of the time very clam and handling their responsibilities with so ease. He always face all the problems fearlessly and always confident about his own decision in the company. He is one of them who wants to change the world and try to develop the things and techniques which are useful for the industry and their customers. They are autocratic leader, they are the one who take all the decision without consulting the team members. They only want is to get the success in the organisation. This is the most fast decision making style. Another one is democratic style, here a leader put all efforts to make a consultation from the team. This style is important in an organisation but at same time, it can be difficult for the leaders to handle various ideas which are comes from their subordinates. Third aspect is laissez-faire leaders; here the employees can take their own decision. They does not need to make a close supervision but this leadership style can be fail. Mr. Pichai use the behavioural theory to manage their team and use efefctively their leadership style. Power and influence theory: There are various methods and theory which are used by the leader to change their power(Cunningham, Ollendorf and Travers, 2017). Most of leader try to develop the management style which is helpful for the company and their leader. Sundar pichai become the CEO of google in 2015, and after that he rise the company and his name too. He has huge development in the project of google drive, following there are various ways which are used by him to develop the google and its application. He adopt different strategies which are; Focus on other success than your own:he always say that try to develop your team members as it will increase your image also. If the leader assist the team members in their best
way then, this will help the company setting up the collaborative culture and use proper strategies throughout google. Boringness is the key of effective leaders:He said that boring and lazy men is best for the company, as they try to find the best suitable option which are more effective and less difficult.Accordingtohimboringnessbringtheemotionalmaturefeeling,andmore conscientious, agreeable and emotionally stable(Sullivan, 2017). According to Mr. Pichai, most of the leaders tend to be extroverted, hard-working and sociable. Furthermore a leader must be consistent and predictable in the nature. Be humble with employees and keep learning:he always try to make the strong humble approach and he never stop learning even after reaching chief executive officer's post (Fayolle, 2018). So he said that to become a successful leader it is important to listen your team and try to be humble and soft with them. Attract and recruit the talent personality:To make a strong position in the market, Mr. pichai, know that google must continue to attract and retain their best employee. This is the important leadership style which is adopted by the CEO of google. So he always try to employee the best people who are creative and smart. Furthermore he always try to appoint more and more youth to achieve the desired goals of Google. After having so many strength of sunadr pichai, there are some weakness which become the reason to decline the position in the market for world's best leader. These are he is very hard- working which become the issue for him. As most of new leaders are talented and smart workers so this will reduce the chance for their own position. His discipling nature, which create the burden on their employees as it create the pressure on them to get the success. Another important issue which has been occurring is his audience threat. It is the reason that why he is not much accepting social media and manage their profile and communicate with others(Gochhayat, Giri and Suar, 2017). He is innovative and talented but at the same time he is an introvert person, and how to communicate with others is the biggest problem for him. He first think for their employers and then think for himself which is good for others but not for him. All these things needed to be manage by him at his personal level. With the help of personal effectiveness, any person can try to think about their own skills and weakness which are actually required to be overcome by individual in order to achieve the personal growth and success.

In order to developed my own development to becomemore successful in competitive job markets. Which actually help the lifelong learning and development of an individual(Greer, 2016). There are various skills which increasemypersonaleffectivedevelopmentprogrammes.Inordertocompletemyself assessment development criteria I found that I have good communication skills which help myself to communicate with others and influence them to complete the desired need and objective of the company. To make the strong profile and become a good and successful leader there are two skills which I have to up garde. These skills are time management and fearless skills. Time management will be helpful to determine my strength and weakness as I can not easily manage my time in order to make a collaboration while maintaining the balance in betweenprofessional and personal life. Time management will helpful to manage my work culture and manage the work in the given time period. Time management is one of the important skill which I think needed to be developed so that I can manage the time and complete the assigned task in given time period. As if I complete the task on given time then my subordinates will do the same task. Another skill which I think needed to be developed in my strength is my fearful nature. As be in the part of business, risk taking is an important skills but I have some issues with that. I can not take high risk in order to complete my task or for the growth of business. To be a good leader or entrepreneur it is important to manage the risk free factor in my skills so that it will help mine growth and development(Hou and et.al., 2020).

Define success:Successcan be defined by what one is trying to achieve from long time and finally achieved. It can include anything achieving highest position, awarded for something, earned a lot, increase revenue etc. For using a success principle it is important for me to achieve the desired targets and retain employees in an organisation. Develop a system you trust:Asystem is been developed in the organisation that employee can trust so that everything between them must be transparent and it maintains trust and credibility in the organisation. I will try to make a trust and develop that trust in between employees and top management. Embed routines & rituals:Aroutine and ritual is established in the organisation so that decorum is maintained and employee work as per the routine and follow the rituals of the organisation so as to develop their skills for future positions and maintain consistency. this principles I try to develop a fixed ritual or culture in my company so that employees feel safe and trusted for their work and projects. See meeting and interaction:For gaining more knowledge and learning something new we need to interact with lots of people and attend management meetings so that you can learn what is going on in this the organisation and how the experts or managers deals with every situation and solve it(Nikou and Economides, 2016). Having more interaction will be helpful for me to make an interaction with employees so that I can easily communicate with them and solve their issues. Stayontrackunderpressure:Ifthereisanysortofpressurecouldbe personal,professional, work load etc. you need to stay on the track instead of diverting from that so that there is no compromise take place between the working in organisation. For become a successful leader it is important for me that my team members will not work in under pressure area. This is very important for having development in the personal skills as if the development gap is not fulfil by an individual then it would be difficult for person to make a personal effectiveness feature. As not filling the development gap will create negative impact on the growth of company(Stockard and et.al., 2018). To fill the development gap I choose the various programmes which provide a deep support for the growth and development of mine future. I use various key performance to analysis my development growth rate. Another tool which is use in filling the development gap is 360-degree reviews which help in managing my feedback and know about the personal effectiveness programmes. In last I can use different observations on the my projects and other missing pieces of my work in the past. By which I can fill the development gap and develop my skills and ability to enhance my future. For each development skills and strategies, the important thing which is needed is time management and thoughtful consideration to improve my skills. Life long learning ability Life long learning develop personality and motivates to learn new things, it enhances our understanding about world around us and provide us more opportunities to improve their life style. Lifelong learning is a aspect of learning which refers to develop and maintain optimistic attitudetowardslearningnewthings(Young,2017).Itimprovesourpersonalaswell professional skills. From my point of view life long learning have long tern effect on our life.
Lifelong learning increase our functionality to perform a task regularly for a long period of time in constantly changing world. Having passion and interest other then work is increase skills and help in overall development. There is a range of lifelong learnings such as formal learning which take place in schedule manner like in college courses, self- directed learning motivates us to learn a work by own, it includes taking online classes. Professional learning enhance skills regarding job task which facilitate us to take effective decisions in critical situations, when we learn something from out of our working place according to our interest. Lifelong learning is far better than short term learning because these learnings are helpful to make our life better(Voronina, Kungurova and Slizkova, 2018). We should open minded to recognise all possible opportunities raises around us and grab them to be successful. Increase interest factor so we can learn something new from them. Internet, books, online classes and various videos can be use to increase knowledge. Lifelong learning helps us to gain knowledge and enhancing new skills in our life, it help us to stay employed, boost our morale to perform task efficiently. Personaldevelopmenthelpsustoenhancebothpersonallyandprofessionallyby increasing new skills, qualities and abilities. If we will improve our personal skills than we will able to maximise our potential to perform a task effectively as well as efficiently. It is important to complete these development workto achieve personal as well as goals of career, helpful to enhance strength and talents and help to feelsatisfied. We can develop our skills by taking proper education and training regarding that. Communication, problem solving skills, self confidence and adaptability are some qualities which makes us more focus and increase our potential to complete work in well defined manner. We candevelop these skills by by overcoming our fear, by learning more new things, ask feedback and improve if there are some problems arise. Create network to communicate other people. CONCLUSION From the above report it is concluded that personal effectiveness is a significant way to remove the hurdles which are comes in the path of achieving the success for future. It is the way to use time and make resources at their best way and improve your own condition in order to achieve the best ability to complete the work.
