INTRODUCTION Organizational behaviour refers to the study of human behaviour within an organization.Its about interaction of people in a group in a certain organization and organization itself. Themajor objective of organization behaviour study is to determine the influence of job structure,performance, communication, motivations, Leadership and so on. The managers and leaders of afirm can accomplish the goals and objectives of company by maximizing output from utilizingthe individual group of employees.. In this report,4com Plc is small which was established in1999 in the United Kingdom by Daron Hutt with an aim to improve communication services inthe SME market. It's headquarter is situated in Bournemouth, Dorset. The report coversorganizational culture, politics and power influence individual and teambehaviour and performance along with motivation and motivationaltechniques in order to achieve the goals. Moreover it also embrace theeffective team management and organizational behaviour concepts.behaviour concepts (French and Holden, 2012). TASK 1P1 Organisation’s culture, politics and power influence individual and teambehaviour and performance.In organization culture, politics and power plays a crucial role because thecompany in such a way -Culture - Organizational culture covers a organization's expectations,experience, philosophies and values. The 4com plc is an organizations thathas some expectation to grow and work efficiently in order to grow and risein the position by every year working. In order to do so, there should bepositive culture that can guide the employee's behaviour of company whichcan be expressed as their image, working and interactions with externalworld. Culture is based on the attitudes, beliefs, customs, and rules that canbe developed with time . The leaders are responsible to organize ethicalculture in the organization that supports to attain the goal. Theorganizations get influenced by individual and team behaviour because asthe management, employees would follow the rules ethically they are able1

to work in organized manner. For an instance, in 4com Plc there is rule thatno one has the right to harm someone's dignity whether they are lower levelstaff or the high authorities and hence, all employees employees would liketo work in this environment because they feel secured (Griffin and Moorhead,2011). Politics– Politics plays an important role to achieve goals that can beimpact in positive and negative manner. The one who learn to drive politicsin appropriate direction are considered as more productive. The politicalculture encourage productivity in the organization that is easy tounderstand for the employees. It is useful to establish clear policies andcommand that are required to find the solutions of the task and producinggood quality of work. In contrast, negative politics at workplace developsnegative environment and conflicts among the workers. If the employees of4com Plc encourage to proceed in unethical and favourable behaviour thenthe company can be suffer in producing quality work and that would bedecrease the productivity and high turnover rate. When the policies andcommands are not stated clearly the firm can face pitfalls (Kinicki and Kreitner,2012). Power – Power has a strong influence on any organization cause itgoverns the rules and decision. In 4com Plc the employees can use theirpower in optimistic way to influence staff cause it encourage productivity.When the top management use their power in constructive way then thatwould be beneficial for the company in order to grow. The management canhire new employees who has strong ability to work and perform well in anytask and to supervise other employees to derive the output from them. Thisapproach enhances the confidence of workers and also motivate them towork hard to get the high result. This will also decrease employeesretention rates and hence increase the productivity of the firm withextensive quality. Whereas, the negative power of leaders do not considersrespect of other employees who are working under them and this kind ofplace for working would not be preferred by the people to work. The2
