BBC has to change the culture, managementand communication system. This report will discuss about the different Political, culture oforganization or power of company. This report will discuss about the importance of employee incompany. BBC is a leading firm for increasing their business all over the world and trying toinfluence the staff member of team and individual. Furthermore, it also summarized the varioustheory or concept that help for managing the business operations and functions. This assignmentwill discuss the different type of effective team that support and analyze the development ofdynamic cooperation’s. At last task, evaluate the different philosophies of the organizationalbehavior.TASK 1Organizational culture of BBC in Past and todaysBBC is based on the board casting organization in the Britain and this organizationprovide the different types of services to their customers. This organization is providing thedifferent services related the news and information etc. In past few years, BBC face manychallenges regarding the working culture because employees are not communicated with theother employee (North and Jensen, 2018).Some employee of BBC create political environment that impact on the organizational culture. Inthis way, many staff member complaint against the culture and management system of theorganizations. In April 2000, the director of BBC decided to track all the information and recordsof trade. At present, director has been change the culture and management because they planningan effective strategies for controlling and managing the entire business in proper manner (VanKnippenberg and Hogg, 2018).Manager of BBC understand the need and requirement of business operations and functions ineffective manner. Nowadays, this organization is recruiting the best employee that manage the
entire business process and increase their business all over the world. In this way, BBC can beachieved their goals and objectives. Afterwards, the director has been changed the workingculture of organization and maintain their services in proper manner. Organizational culture isthe approach for providing the direction of business according to the theoretical perspectives. ForExample- Deal and Kennedy is defined the culture of organization and also measure the few riskof organization because in the large firms which provided the high quality of services to theircustomers. It also characterized by the team and group meetings, buzzwords.According to the Charles handy, the organizational culture can be divided into four differentways.Power culture-this is based on the actual power of the few controls from the center suchas web. BBC follows some power culture and have specific rules and regulation thatmanage the business operations in effective manner.For Example- At the time crisis, itimpacts on the culture of BBC because employee is not aware about the rights and cannotcommunicate with the other employee. In this way, managers cannot fulfilled their needand requirement due to crisis in 1992.Role culture- role culture is main part of organization to clear delegated towards thehigher authorities that are taken the decision regarding the business development. BBCfirm follow the hierarchical system to control the business issues and problems in theorganization. Power is defined the position of person and their expert skill and knowledge(Hosgorur, Altinkurt and Kan, 2017).Task culture-Task is based on the team or group of people for solving the problem andissues. In BBC, this organization is build an effective team for performing business taskfor growth and development. This culture often the different type of reporting line in thematrix structure.For Example- due to crisis, employee is not focus towards their work. Inthis way, BBC faces many challenges related the growth and development of business.BBC is also faced the problem in the market pressure and technological factors.Person culture- A person culture is that where all the individuals believe in themselvessuperior to the company. Many professional partnership can operates the person culturebecause the partner bring the expertise in the particular areas.
