The Developing Manager

INTRODUCTION
In this presentation, SWOT analysis is carried out by me for the post of
general manager in Dorchester Hotel. My personnel and professional skills are
also honestly identified by myself which will assist me to know the areas where
improvement is needed in my performance. I also prioritise my objectives to
improve the performance of my workforce.

2.1 Assessment of own management skills
To better perform in the organisation, an employee should know about his/her
skills which will assist to utilize the potential in an effective manner. Being
the general manager, I must have management skills in my working style
which will help me in achieving my daily based targets effectually. Some
of them are listed below which assists me to fulfil my requirement in an
appropriate manner:
Leadership
Communication
Motivation

2.2 Personal SWOT analysis
With the help of SWOT analysis, I can identify my strengths and develop
strategies to overcome with the weaknesses. This will assist me to
develop a level of accuracy in my working style. With the help of
SWOT analysis, I would also forecast all such opportunities and
threats which will assist me to take appropriate decision-making for
my best future in Dorchester. Here, my SWOT analysis is listed as
