The paper willhighlight all these aspects with some detail analysis that in what manner social media helps themto grow and will conclude with an overall evaluation of the discussion. Benefits of Social MediaSocial media plays a vital role in a successful marketing and advertising of any organisation asthe companies makes use of social media and social networks in enhancing the social visibilityof an organisation by having a strong online presence. There is a trend that the companyadvertises and markets their brand on several social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter,Instagram, etc. All such social media channels help the organisation in achieving strong socialrecognition and marketing of the products and services of the company (Husain, Ghufran andChaubey, 2016). Another marketing and advertising benefit of social media is creative digitalmarketing, a marketing technique that of the company for publicizing the products throughdigital technology. There are various digital technologies such as internet, mobile phones, etc.which helps the companies in generating revenues and participate in economic development(Lazaroiu, 2010). Next key benefit of social media in context with marketing is to retain thecustomers through 24*7 online support, taking feedbacks from customers, and marketing of theirbrand through positive reviews on various social platforms. Another benefit of social media in earningmoney is that there are several young people who are running a good business and earning highamount by the means of social media channels irrespective of their age, geographical location,experience, etc. Thus, social media is successfully running the livelihood of thousands of peoplejust by considering social media a channel for business and expending it without any suchbarricades that are found in the physical business channels (Tsimonis and Dimitriadis, 2014).The third key area which is served by social media advantages is the education sector. There arestill numerous regions that are not much developed and do not have technological andinfrastructure facilities by which the children can have a better education. But with the effort andparticipation of social media in human lives, the scenario has completely changes as now theeducation is offered via social media channels and social networks which are also free of cost.With the help of social media, the children can study, achieve relevant study material and canhave learning by the means of video conferencing (Tess, 2013).
