INTRODUCTION:Social and health care is related to providing effective care to people by improvingquality of health services. It is important to respect person value and principles while providingcare. A social worker should perform his roles and duties effectively at work place (Rowe,2017). It will help in enhancing his skills and abilities. Moreover, care practitioner shouldprovide effective care to each individual according to his beliefs and values. This will help inpreventing any discrimination while providing health services. This report will describe howpersonal values and principles are followed and what influence it can have in health care. Also,what change in personal values can have a impact on social work is studied. TASK 11.1 Compare personal values and principles with the principles of support for working in healthand social careThere are various values and principles that are followed by social worker whileproviding care. It is important for social worker to understand how support is given to patients.For this care centres can develop some principles that will ensure care is given accordingly. It isbecause there are many people who are having different ethics, values, etc. and social care isbased on these ethics and values (Hopkinson, 2014). Personal values include honesty,behaviour, religion, etc. Principles developed will help in providing effective care. It will create a framework thatwill include communication, teamwork, ethics, etc. These all will allow care worker to treat eachindividual equally and respectfully. Along with this, by following these principles' organisationwill be able to achieve their goals and objectives effectively. Moreover, principles and personalvalues will describe that support is given to people fairly ad in ethical way. 1.2 Assess how personal culture and experience influence own role in supporting users ofservices and others in health and social care settingsCulture reflects the background of people. It shows how they are treated. It includesvalues and beliefs of people (Christie, Cree and Tett, 2017). These helps in providing equalrights to each individual at workplace. Moreover, it protects people from activities like abusing,

misbehaving, etc. Along with this experience shows that how people are given respect whileproviding services. Also, it is essential for care practitioner to follow cultural aspect whileproviding care. This is because it becomes easy for them to protect clients from any harms. Also,it helps in gaining trust of people. A care practitioner having cultural experience will not involveany kind of discrimination activity at workplace. Furthermore, it will ensure that people aregiven effective care at workplace. The role of care practitioner in health and social care will be treating everyone equally. Itwill help in enhancing quality of service. Also, by this they will ensure that principles are beenfollowed effectively (Vetere and Stratton, 2016). This will encourage others to follow thoseprinciples. Thus, it will influence overall workers in health care. 1.3 Discuss how new developments and changes to personal values can impact on work in healthand social care By implementing changes in personal values effective care can be given. It will have agreat impact on person behaviour and his work. It will help in gaining more skills about differentcultural values and beliefs. With this care be given accordingly. There are many changes thatoccurs at workplace. So an individual should adopt those changes that will help in working indifferent way. This will lead to improvement in quality of service. Moreover, it will help inbetter understanding of people and minimising risk of any uncertainty at workplace. Changes will help in ensuring no discrimination among people. Furthermore, there areseveral laws and regulations that are followed in organisation. It creates a great impact in healthcare. For example- data protection act, equality at work act, etc. (Ansari, Baxendale andWoodier, 2017). These acts ensure that individual is given proper care services. They are treatedequally and with respect. By following these aspects it creates a better working environment.Besides this, it secures confidential data of people.
