a. INTRODUCTION
Personal effectiveness refers to the branch of the self help movement dealing with goals,
success and concepts which are being related. Personal effectiveness integrates some of ideas
and concepts from the power of thinking in favourable and positive manner and positive
psychology but in general its is being distinct from the new thought Movement. Personal
effectiveness means to utilise all capabilities, skills, energy and talents to reach the target and
goals of individual lives. This helps in better understanding of the talent of the individual. It
explains about the lack of skills which individuals possess and what need to be done to achieve
the goals of the company(Personal Effectiveness in The Workplace, 2019). A primary factor of
differentiating personal effectiveness take generally more systematic approach which includes
number of factors, besides the simple favourable thought process. Some proponents takes and
approach with similarities to enterprise business process management techniques. Other may
take physical wellness and holistic spiritual approach. The present report is being on the case
study review of Sundar Pichai who is the CEO of google. It will highlight with application of
theories and framework to the personal effectiveness to provide with critical evaluation of the
skills and behaviour that has being used by Sundar Pichai to be the effective global leader. It

Communication skills- Sundar Pichai is Know to tune and link his communication based on
audience with whom he is communicating with . He has worked with improving and learn his
skills of communication successfully. He is strong communicator who makes sure every
individual in the organisation understand the Mission and Vision of company. His effective
communication leads with both verbal and non verbal communication. While communicating he
maintains with effective eye contact with its audience as a result helps in capturing and drawing
with the attention of audience towards what he is communicating. It also leads with effective

way of listening to audience and addressing to there queries which leads with leader with proper
engagement (Voronina, Kungurova and Slizkova, 2018).

employees of Google. His major leadership scheme as described by himself is do not see own
success, but focus on the success of others. He is being seen as calm, composite and ease in his
role of leadership. He opts with transformational style of leadership where he works with teams
to identify and cater with the needed change. It leads him to create a vision to guide change by
inspiration, and executing the change in relation with group of employees who are committed to
achieve business targets. It is full range leadership model being used by Sundar Pichai in its
business Operations. It leads with engaging the employees of company to thrive for better
performance and achieve results.
Team Player – Sundar Pichai is a team player, where he takes efforts to coordinate activities of
its team. His skills and behaviours leads with motivating employees of company to take fruitful
participation in decision making process of the company. He creates success of his organisation
by encouraging personal development and collaboration. It helps in setting up of culture which is
being collaborative in nature. This skill and behaviour leads with removing of barriers and
hurdles being faced by the individual or employees and helps them to focus on task and activities
required to achieve the goals. This skill leads with knowing what issue and problems are being
faced by individuals in Google and serving as helping hand to resolve the issues and leading to
success of company.
Innovative -The leader of the google is highly innovative and creative as it leads with increase
increase in sales revenue and profitability of company (Bhardwaj , Gupta, 2017). These have
helped the company in gaining the competitive advantage and winning in the marketplace. By
this skill of Sundar Pichai it has helped with generating new perspective to related business
parties, which have led to growth of company. By having this attribute it has enabled other
