 PIH is a private, nonprofit, secular, Boston based
healthcare organization.
 Founded in 1987 by Thomas J. White, Paul Farmer,
Todd McCormack, Ophelia Dahl and Jim Yong Kim
 Operate in Boston, Haiti, Peru, Rwanda, Mexico,
Russia, Lesotho, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Liberia
 The mission is to provide modern medical healthcare
to those who need it and offer hope to those in
despair
