INTRODUCTION
Request for Proposal is a business document in which the details of the project is
provided in which the biding is done by the contractor. Here in the current study the Modern
bank will send the Request for Proposal and the Response for proposal will be sent by the
Cuisine coffee.
2.1 Request for proposal
Background
As an owner of the Cuisine coffee it is a great opportunity to grab in which Request for
the Proposal Form will made in order to get the acceptance. There is a specific format for the
form which is mentioned below:
Cuisine coffee is a start up company which is having its own new and innovative ideas
and run by two people. The company focus mainly on timely delivery of the product and with
reasonable price. Quality product is the main focus in the company. The company provides
products such as tea, coffee, snacks, beverages and fast food (Choi, 2019). The services provided
by the company will be home delivery services and credit services will specially be provided to
the Bank. The location for the company is mesmerising where the customer will feel like “its the
day for life”. The organisation will provide some free snacks in which free biscuits and free
chips will be provided which will make the Cuisine coffee separate form the others. Also the
Bank is a well known in London which have granted around 1000 business request proposal with
100 percent success rate. The Bank will send the proposal to the Cuisine coffee.
Goals
The Banking company is working towards providing quality services in which the
organisation will provide highly attractive deals at lucrative rates and friendly working
environment in which the employees can work freely in order to provide best service possible.
The goal of the Banking is to provide highly quality service with the aim of achieving full
customer satisfaction and generating handsome income by provide loans and other advantages at
concessional rates to customers and timely meeting the requirements of the Cuisine coffee
(Gbadegeshin, 2018). There are also other goals of the bank such as helping the start-ups by
providing loan and also helping the companies met their operating activities.
Selection schedule which is anticipated

If there are any questions regarding the project the same can be asked to the bank within
2 days after the submission. Prior appointment is must by the official authority of the Cuisine
coffee in which the the official can ask questions related with the company and its service. There
is also FAQ section which can be viewed by the audience in order to get better idea about what
to ask (Kirk, 2018). Whatever queries there are will be answered promptly in which the customer
representative will take each and every query seriously. As each and every customer is important
for the company, each customer will be given due respect and feedback system will also be
provided to the customers in order to take the views about the organisation and what needs to
improved more within and outside the firm.
Place as well time for submission of the form
The form will be submitted at the official place by the bank and the response to proposal
will be given at the official place of Cuisine coffee. Appropriate response must be given by the
Cuisine coffee within the time frame of 5 days in which all the agreement must be signed by both
of the parties in which proper documentation of the name and address and other important details
of the owner and responsible person is must (Lamont-Robinson, Williams. and Thompson,
2018). The place where the service to be provided must be mentioned so that there is no
confusion about the place. The deal must be signed within the office hours which is from 9:30
AM to 5:00 PM.
Timeline for submission
Our company wishes to get reply as soon as possible in which the Banking company is
expecting for accepting the proposal from Cuisine coffee. The timeline can be adjusted in order
to facilitate ease in trade. Our company wishes that the Cuisine coffee will be completed with all
its work within 6 months and the very next day the bank can come for the coffee at the shop.
Evaluation Criteria
The evaluation of the Cuisine coffee will be done on the basis of repaying capacity of the
company in which the company will check the repaying capacity of the Cuisine and if there is
any loan which is extra or not. If there is any extra loan then the repaying history of that loan will
be seen. The source of income of the company will be seen in which from where the company is
getting income will be seen so that it can pay the loan of the bank. If the income is good then as
per the income the loan limit will be set. Higher income will lead to setting of higher loan limit

and visa a versa in case of lower income limit. Here for the company the income source are fair
and the company is generating good income. So the company is eligible for higher loan.
Possible Issues
There can be possible issues such as illegal fillings of the company. The place where the
company is operating its coffee shop might not be there. There can also be chances that coffee
shop refuses to pay the loan amount (Muñoz, 2019). All these possible issues will be listed and
provision for the same will be made in which how to overcome the issues will be seen and
implemented if the situation emerges. In order to avoid all these issues bank will clear all the
terms and conditions before the company.
Budget
After looking at the performance as well position of the company the loan limit for
budget will be set and here for the Cuisine coffee, the company is eligible to take a loan of
amount up to 60000 ponds. The same can be replayed as per the convince of the company. But
the maximum time limit for the repayment will be 20 years. The condition of the loan will be the
amount raised from the loan must be used to invest the money for the business purpose only and
no other purpose. If used for other purpose then the same must be mentioned by the company in
order to avoid last minutes crunches.
2.2 Response to RPF (request for proposal)
In accordance to the request for proposal, we are providing information required by the
company to open their own coffee shop and to demonstrate our own qualification (Zaballero,
2017). One of the basic requirements that the company should have is that the company should
have at least 1 year working experience. All the workers of the company should have complete
knowledge of making coffee by maintaining its quality.
As the owner of Cuisine coffee shop, I am interested in your RFP. We can help the company
to open their own coffee shop and we have our own proposal for the company which can help
them to open their own coffee shop. Cuisine coffee shop is a small start up and we are planning
to expand our own business. We can help the company to start their own coffee shop which will
not only help the company to open their own coffee shop but will also help us to expand our own
business. One of the biggest advantages of this proposal is that, this proposal will help the
company to reduce their overall budget i.e. this partnership will help the company to reduce their

budget and they will be required to invest only $50,000. Other than this with the hep of this
partnership company will be able to open their coffee shop within 5 months. Our brand image
will also help the company in marketing and building their brand name as well.
We have been working in this industry from past 2 years and have various kinds of new and
innovative ideas which will help the company to establish themselves. We also have experience
of making as well as selling various kinds of products such as tea, coffee, snacks, beverages and
fast food. We provide all the products to the customers at a moderate price by maintaining
products quality and with good service. Our main strategy is to provide fast and quality service
and for this we also provide home delivery service to our customer’s. Within this two year, we
have qualified ourselves to fulfil all the requirements of the company through which they can
open their own business. Our customer satisfaction level is quite high which has eventually
helped us to grow our business by opening various branches across the city and now we are
planning to expand our business by opening one branch in another city as well.
Cuisine coffee shop is fully capable and experienced to provide support the company to
open their own coffee shop business. Our main approach is to remain focused on fulfilling our
main objectives and to maximise use of resources that are already available so that we can
increase our customer base as well. We also have experienced staff members from 1 to 2 years of
experience and some of them with more than 2 years of experience. Other than this we have
successfully negotiated with some of our food suppliers who provide us with food materials at
lower price which helps us in providing food products to customers at lower price. We will also
continue to provide same fast and quality service and products to our customers. Cuisine coffee
shop guarantees that we will be able to fulfil all the requirements of the company and meet all
the requirements outlined in the RFP and ways in which we will fulfil all the requirements have
already been explained in out response to RFP.
2.5 Evaluation of stages of pitch and negotiation process
There are five stages on the basis of which pitch and negotiation process can be evaluated.
One of the most basic steps of pitching is to pitch maximum information than required so that
negotiator can get maximum information which is required by them (Heller, 2018). Information
should be enough to answer all the questions or queries of the negotiator and should
automatically clarify all the doubts of the negotiators.

Preparation: At first stage a proposal with all the required information should be pitched
so that negotiator can understand complete proposal which is been pitched to them and if
they have any question or query then the company should be able to answer all the
questions or queries (Park, Hwang and Kee, 2019).
Define ground rules: Based on all the need and requirements company should pitch a
proposal including all of their requirements. After planning one party should define some
ground rules so that other party can negotiate and respond accordingly.
Clarification and justification: After completion of stage two both the parties should
exchange required information, amplify their knowledge, justify their demands and
requirements in a proper manner.
Bargaining and problem solving: After clarification stage bargaining and problem solving
stage comes into picture where both the parties negotiate, resolve any kind of problem or
barrier and reach to a conclusion or agreement (Donaldson, 2016).
Closure and implementation: In the final step plan and procedure is developed on the
basis of which final formal contract is formed.
CONCLUSION
The above study has successfully completed request for proposal on behalf of the bank,
response to RFP on behalf of Cuisine coffee shop. This report also focuses on evaluation of
stages of pitch and negotiation process. The above study shows how to write a request for the
proposal and how to receive the proposal in more diplomatic and effective way in order to
convince the party. The different stages of the negotiation which are required to be followed for
better results. There are various issues such as time issue, place issue must be addressed timely in
order to get appropriate responses.
