INTRODUCTION
Skill audit is a kind of written textual that consists of all the skills one individual have within
themselves and the ways through which the advancement of skills have been done. It includes
the skills after complete evaluation of one’s potency and flaws and enhances them after
analysing various occasions and avoids any kind of intimidation in order to achieve higher
growth and success in future career terms (Skibniewski, M.J., 2020). This report will highlight
the point’s related to preparation of placement along with reflective diary of industrial placement
that helps me in order to plan my future career to achieve more higher growth opportunities.
PART A: PREPARATION OF PLACEMENT
Industrial work placements are a comprehensive period of work experiences undertake by an
individual in order to supplement their learning with professional development. While working
in my previous job as industrial placement, I have experienced a lot of things within me such as I
have well at my communication part, problem solving abilities and leadership (Rendy, O., 2017).
In order to conduct my skills audit, I utilised SWOT analysis for the purpose to describe them as
follows:
Strengths
 As a marketing manager, I have learnt
various ways in order to share
information with the help of my
effective communication skills in order
to complete the assignments in best
possible manner.
 I have also developed problem solving
abilities within me which helps me to
solve critical issues at the work place
for the betterment of the growth and
development of the firm.
Weaknesses
 At my previous work place, I have
realised that I was not good at some
places that I have lack of analytical
skills within me through which I was
not able to appropriately prepare
assignment budgeting.
 Moreover, I was not having effectual
abilities to work under pressure
circumstances and I feel anxiety at the
work place.
Opportunities
 With my personal industrial experience,
I get to know that I have very vast

 Estimation of guidance requirements: I need to get a role of Marketing Manager in a
highly regarded organization within the construction industry sector in United Kingdom.
 Training intentions: The basic purpose to get training is to get industrial placement in
trustworthy and highly reputed establishment in order to achieve higher growth and
success in my future career as well as professional life.
 Accomplishment plan: In order to achieve higher growth and success in my future
professional career, I have decided to enhance my analytical skills along with increase
my abilities in order to do work even under pressure conditions as well.
 Valuation and modify the training needs: At this particular stage, I get to review my
actual skills and abilities, information and potentiality of training requirements to achieve
goal of my life i.e. to get placement as Marketing manager in a well reputable
organization (Menges, A., 2020).
Currently, I am continuously searching for employment for the position of strategic manager
in well known establishment in construction industry sector with the usage of optimum
utilisation of my abilities and talent, knowledge as well as my capabilities to achieve such
