policies and further decision on the basis of their need and demand. In the travel company,
clients have different desire and their satisfaction level depend upon various factors such as
cleanlinesses of room, food quality, behaviour of staff members, luggage facilities etc.
Manager of Thomas Cook need to ensure that, behaviour of their staff members toward
their visitors should be polite and positive because if it is not happen then it will affect the
business negatively. In result, it reduce the productivity as well as profit margin of the company.

P6 Undertaking job interview process for a suitable role in the service industry
Thomas Cook conduct a interview process for the role of assistant manager which help
the organization to maintain their marketing and promotional activities to attract large number of
consumers. This role required various skills and capabilities to achieve various task in order to
achieve their business goals & objectives. Thomas Cook conduct interview and I am going to
face this interview where I have to face 3 rounds interview and all of them based on some
competencies. Luckily I am clear the two rounds which is about written test or group discussion
and then in the last I have to face manager for the direct interview (Quarrie and et.al., 2017). In
this round, manager check my academic knowledge regarding marketing, creative thinking
process and ability to perform in different circumstances.
I am clearing all the rounds and then finally I an selected for the post of assistant manager
and it will be happen due to my strong academic background and my past job experience. Before
my interview process, I will prepare some questions for the interview round which help me a lot.
Because it represented that candidate have awareness and good researcher quality which is
beneficial for the business. Along with this, I am also search about the role & responsibility of
assistant manager which help me to modify my answer and increase the chances of selecting.

In addition, I am also prepared some general questions which asked by the every
interviewer and I am measure my own strength and weakness which help the employer to
identify that weather it is suitable for the organization or not (Ryan and Bourke, 2013). My
strong academic background, knowledge, skills and job experience in the same field help me to
securer assistant manager post.
P7 Key Strength and weakness of interview process
Strength:
Interview process help the individual to get the lifetime experience which increase the
knowledge, confidence and provide various benefits. In the interview room, I feel very nervous
because that time question answer round will not started. But, when it started then all the fear of
my will be gone (Tam, 2015). At the time of answering interviewer's questions, I can feel that he
is impressed with it. I observed that most of the questions are from my past experience and from
basic fundamentals which help me to get this job. It is valuable experience which further helps in
my future because it will increase your thinking process, make me capable to take decision under
pressure and develop my critical thinking. Previous job experience is very important because that
time you learn various things and it will be applied in the next job. At the time of giving
interview I observe the organizational culture, work environment and expectation. These are the
strength of the interview process which can be used as a lifetime experience.
Weakness:
At the time of giving interview I observed that, my knowledge regarding current affairs
awareness, logical reasoning etc. can became barrier or reason to not selected for the post of
assistant manager. This process also increase the stress level which make me more nervous. Due
to stress and pressure most of the candidates are getting panic which reduce the confidence as
well as changes of being selected in the organization for the specific post. When I am entering in
the interviewer room my confidence is good but it affect little bit. When I am start giving answer
then all my fear regarding interview is gone and I am confidently answer all the questions. Due
to lack of required skills such as communication and problem solving skills can be reduce my
chance to get this assistant manager post but I am able to secure this position due to my
capability, ability or competencies (Wong and et.al., 2015).

CONCLUSION
This report concluded that professional identity and practices help the individual as well
as whole organization where they improve their skills according top the requirement. With the
help of audit skills, I am able to identify where currently I am existing and the required
improvement for the effective or efficient work. Along with this, development help to enhance
their skills and then achieve their business goals & objectives. Various theories will be adopted
by the organization to improve their efficiency which increase the productivity or profitability.
Development plan help the individual to identify the area where they required improvement and
