The project Management is the practice of initiating, planning and executing the entire
work in order to attain the goals and objectives at specified time. The current report is also based
upon the case study of QA higher education (QAHE) which has just completed the renovation of
its teaching room and computer labs to make sure that staff have excellent environment. For that,
the e is a need to launch an event in order to publicise this. Therefore, the report helps to provide
a knowledge related to project management and describe different stages in order to attain the
aim and objectives of the QAHE.

INTRODUCTION
Project management helps to make sure that project is attaining all the stages which
includes, initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing the work. Therefore, the entire
report is based upon the case study in which QAHE wants to publicise the events in market and
the estimated budget is £50000. So, current report helps to provide deep understanding of how
the event is executed and close with the help to project manager. Current study will describe the
project initiation documents which includes objectives, budgetary information, timescale.
Approach, stakeholder analysis. Further, it describe the risk register with different example of
good practice and work breakdown structure as well. Lastly, report will describe the importance

task which are consider such as:
Summary of the task:
Initiating: In this stage, the goals are finalize and this also helps to define the project in
broad level. Such that in the current project, an event is organize in order to attract the large
number of customers and students.
Planning: Key phase of the project which begin with SMART objectives and there must
be clear communication between the stakeholder and also project manager make sure that there
should be risk management plan that helps to minimize the plan.
Executing: In this stage, project manager implemented all the deliverables and keep
update the performance report as well. Such that they assign duties to project team, set up
tracking system in order to make sure that all the deliverables are executed (Meredith, Mantel Jr
and Shafer, 2017).
Performance/ Monitoring:project manger also set key performance indicators that helps
to identify the performance each activity whether they are delivered with good quality or not.
Moreover, in this stage, the performance of the project is identified.
Closing: last stage in which the project is about to lose and thanks to every member of a
team for their contribution.

Describing the need for quality leadership of the project
in order to deliver the best quality of project, it is quite essential for the project manager
to posses good leadership qualities, which includes take better decision for the project execution,
motivate the stakeholder so that they complete the project on time. Further, leader may also opt
situational leadership style in order to handle the situation. Further, if the project manager posses
effective leadership qualities then they leads a project towards right direction. For the current
project, the project manager may also use some hard language such that “ you need to make sure
that the project is led well otherwise it directly create negative impact upon the overall event”.
These may decrease the morale of others, but there is a need to use these language in order to
make them realize about their roles and responsibilities (Karaman and Kurt, 2015). Another
example is, “Are you really interested to perform the activities, so please don't take it lightly”
these persuasive argument may affect others but it is the part of leadership, that is why, project
manager have to use this.
Critique of methodologies to run the project
There are different methodologies which may be used to run the project in better way
such that:
Prince2: It is the process based approach which mainly focus on organization so that it
may control the entire project from start to finish. In this methodology, the project manager main

role is to make sure that they select the people to do project and ensure that it is done in proper
way. Moreover, it means that the project are basically thoroughly plan and before kick-off so that
each stage of the project is clearly structured so that it may leads to end (Kliem, and Ludin,
2019).
Agile: It is another methodology may used by the project manager because it is
continuous process of developing and testing throughout the software development life- cycle.
Further, this method also provide fast results with clear communication with each stakeholder.
Waterfall: It is another best method which may also used by the project manager in
order to complete the project in better way, such that it is that approach where the project is
completed in different stages and it also moved step by step process in order to go last stage. But
it takes too much time that is why, not used by the project managers generally. Therefore, it is
design to analyse the progress with different concepts.
CONCLUSION
By summing up above report, it has been concluded that the by following all the stages of
project management, a project manager may easily complete the defined task in better way.
Further, the report concluded that there is a need to maintain risk register in order to overcome
every risk and majorly the project manager is responsible for every work. Further, study also
concluded that by using work break down structure, the project manager easily manages the
entire work and even completed on time as well. Further, study also recommended to use Prince2
methodologies because it describe the entire project task in better way which help the project
manager to determine the error as well.
