Anti-discrimination legislation: Anti-discrimination law generally refers to the
legislation that is mainly designed for preventing discrimination against particular groups of
people or protected classes (Walsh, 2016). The project that is undertaken in Mc Donald’s is
planned in such a way that no discrimination will be done against any group of people and this
helps in delivering the project on time.
Environmental issues: It is found that MacDonald’s utilizes paper-based system for
managing its operation and it is found that 9% of the total emission of Co2 generally occurs from
paper manufacturing industries which is one of the major environmental issue. In order to
effectively manage the issue, Mac Donald wants to develop an app so that its entire operation
can be managed online.
Ethical principles: Ethics is about the values that needs to be respected by all the
workers of the McDonalds’s while successfully interacting with the other workers. MacDonald’s
create a number of ethical principles that needs to be followed by the stakeholders and it would
be quite beneficial while successfully delivering the entire project on time (Harriss, MacSween
& Atkinson, 2019).
WHS: The WHS cat generally helps in placing the primary duty of health and person for
a particular individual who are associated with the business. The organization utilizes WHS so
that the health and safety of the workers are safeguarded so that it does not create any type of
negative impact on the project.

According to David and David (2019), strategic management is defined as one of the
ongoing planning, monitoring, analysis as well as assessment of all which is generally needed
within an organization for meeting the goals and objectives. It is found that changes within the
entire business environment mainly needs the entire organization to properly asses the strategies
that are related with success.
It is found that strategic management is linked with the concept of project management as
strategic management mainly involves both short term as well as long term planning for helping
the business to reach towards its goal whereas project management mainly involves short term
goals that generally create a service as well as program for meeting customer satisfaction.

It is stated by Durant et al. (2017) that governance mainly comprises of all the
procedures of governing whether it is undertaken by the government of a state or by a market
over a social system. It is found that good governance is considered as the heart for making the
entire business successful and it is found to be very much important for achieving the objectives
and for maintaining legal standing of the shareholders.
Project governance is defined as one of the management-based frameworks within which
the project related decisions are generally made. It is considered as one of the critical elements of
the project since the responsibilities as well as accountabilities are associated with the business
of the organization. The role of the project governance is to give proper decision-making-based
framework that is very much logical for governing the capital investment of an organization.

In order to avoid cultural difference during team performance so that the success of the
project does not get compromised, following actions are taken by the stakeholders which are
elaborated below:
Providing diversity training: It is found that diversity training is one of the programs
that is mainly designed for facilitating positive intergroup based interaction in order to minimize
prejudice as well as discrimination among the stakeholders so that the work can be undertaken
successfully (De Jong, Dirks & Gillespie, 2016).
Project team Co-locate: The team members are located at the same place so that the
team members can interact with one another. Additionally, face to face collaboration among the
team members can be possible and can be practised effectively.
Team building exercises: It is found that in order to build the team successfully, it is
needed to establish leadership as well as proper relationship with each of the employees. In
addition to this, it is needed to encourage the entire team for sharing information by fostering
teamwork (Meneghel, Salanova & Martínez, 2016).
Informing about rules and standards of team: Proper meetings must be arranged from
time to time in order to share the rules as well as standards of the team so that the team members
can be able to understand the rules and can be able to complete the work that is assigned to them
successfully.

2.1.1 Introduction
The paper mainly reflects on the development of app for MacDonald’s which is one of
the American fast food company which was founded in the Year 1940. The app was developed
as earlier all the operation are done manually it is identified that there is lack of proper
responsibility among the employees due to which the work does not get completed on time
which creates customer dissatisfaction. In order to manage the work and for keeping proper
management, all the works are managed online and through the developed app so that delivery of
products can be done on time.
