1 Overview Information
Project Title/Name EduStream Pilot (Phase 1)
Project Description The project will include the design, development, and deployment
of a real-time streaming system that will allow the customers to
stream the educational videos and games on a real-time basis. The
back-end of the system will be designed and implemented as per
Real-Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) and a front-end will be
developed for the customers to access the videos. The streaming
systems will be deployed along with the security systems to make
sure that the security of the information and data sets is
maintained at all times. The systems will be utilized for managing
the gateways to access the content in a secure manner (Rose,
2013).
Project Purpose The aim of the project is to develop a secure, stable, and user-
friendly real-time streaming solution for EdMI which may be
utilized to deploy the educational videos and games.
The project will also ensure that the security of the system is
ensured and maintained by all times by developed and deploying
secure systems in addition to the streaming systems (Rose &
Indelicato, 2009).
Project Scope The scope of the project will include the initiation and planning
activities for the project to make sure that the beginning of the

project is streamlined to deliver a successful project. The design,
development, and deployment of the streaming system along with
the security system will come under the project scope.
There will be marketing, testing, go-live, and closure activities
that will also come under the scope of the project (Wearne, 2014).

Key Project
Deliverables
The first deliverable in the project will be the Project Charter
followed by project Financial Analysis. A detailed Project
Management Plan (PMP) will be submitted next. The system
architecture, source code for the front-end, streaming system,
security system, and closure report are the other deliverables that
will be provided by the members of the project team (Rose, 2013).
