Analysis of Recruitment Process Post COVID-19

This essay discusses the change in recruitment process post COVID-19 and its strengths and weaknesses. The recruitment process is justified and evaluated for its effectiveness to the organizational context. The Belbin team building model and Tuckman model are also explained. Recruitment is the process of identifying,
attracting, interviewing and selecting, hiring the
potential candidate for the given job role by
analysing their skills and abilities. It involves
every aspects starting from the identification to
the filling up of job role (Kaijalainen, 2021).
Human resource manager is responsible for
choosing the deserving candidate who can
perform their job role in an appropriate manner.

Recruitment is the important aspects that ensures the filling up of vacant job role
by recruiting the deserving candidate by evaluating their strength and weakness for
the given job role. Human resource ensures to use the right medium of the
recruitment so that new talent also be introduced within the organisation
(Schislyaeva and Plis, 2021).

Justification for this process
From the use of recruitment and selection process, it is justified that this process in
recruiting and selecting the deserving candidate by going through various steps of
recruitment. This also helps in analysing the strength and weakness of the candidates and
their specialised domain in which they can effectively work (Haye and et. al., 2021). As per
the study it is stated that maximum number of recruitment is being done without have
effective recruitment or the candidate not going through the entire recruitment process.

Evaluation of process and effectiveness to organizational context
With the effective evaluation of this theory, it can be said that recruitment is the
important aspects in the entire recruitment process which check the qualification, skills,
interest, specialised domain of the candidate who is looking for the vacant job role. These
all measures or the check-list of the individual helps them to have the betterment in
selecting the candidate who can perform the job role in a well-define manner.

Belbin team building model
It states that there are nine roles that needs
to e occupied within any of the team and
these aspects are shaper, coordinator,
resources, plant, investigator, monitor,
evaluator, specialist, team workers,
implementer and complete finisher.

Tuckman Model
It is the theory which is proposed by
psychologist Bruce Tuckman in 1965 and it
is stated that teams have to go through five
stages of development for say, forming,
storming, norming, performing and
adjourning.

Reflection
I am glad and honoured to complete this project as I have learned various things and also
faced various issues while doing this project. They are having major consideration by
which they can maintain the up thrust and doing of the working with full integrity and
honest behaviour. During doing this essay, there are various process of recruitment such
has on-campus and off-campus recruitment and this is suggested to the company to use
the on-campus recruitment so that they can have the fresh talent within the organisation
and also ensures to complete the given job by using their own set of skills.

Conclusion
From the above essay, it is concluded that recruitment process is significant for ensures
the proper workforce planning so that every department can work as per their given
target. There is huge impact of COVID-19 on the process of recruitment and selection of
an organisation.
