Recruitment plan of Tesco plcIn order to understand the role of internal and external sources for the recruitment process, the students of the schools should first know why vacancies occurred in Tesco. On the other hand, due to many reasons vacancies may occur such as new store opening purpose which means at a new store of Tesco requires new employees through using either internal or external sources. In the case of internal sources which are based on the personal recommendation of senior executives of Tesco. In addition, internal sources of recruitment process consume low cost and time. Along with that, the external resources are more costly and time-consuming rather than internal sources. In addition, the external sources are mainly based on advertisement which includes various medium. Moreover, job vacancies can get the quick response by advertising in social media which is accessed by individual people (Alexander and Sinnett, 2005). Recruitment plan of SainsburySimilarly, the students of the schools should first distinguish why vacancies occurred in Sainsbury to understand the role of internal and external sources included in the recruitment and selection process. Along with that, due to many reasons vacancies may occur such as new store opening purpose which means at a new store of Sainsbury requires new employees through using either internal or external sources. In other words, job vacancies can get the quick response by advertising in social media, for example, Facebook, Twitter and Google+. Explain the impact of the legal and regulatory framework on recruitment and selection activitiesThe requirement agent needs to aware the school students about the legal and regulatory framework on selection and recruitment activities like interviews. On the other hand, there are various types of legal and regulatory framework effect the recruitment and selection process such as data protection act 1998 and sex discrimination act 1975/97 (Chawla, 2015). In the interview process, the HR managers need to pay attention to the legal and ethical requirements to select the qualified candidate. Along with that, most of the cases through an interview process, the selection process has been done. In addition, according to the data protection act, the HR managers should not disclose the personal data of applicants to the third party. Moreover, all information related to applicants are required to be securely maintained by the authority (Fehl, 2010). On the other hand, the HR managers have a responsibility to protect the employees or candidates from any sexual discrimination and treat both men and women applicants equal according to the Equality Act 2010. Along with that, the HR managers are required to complywith this act of equality and focus on discrimination-free selection process. Moreover, the HRmanagers should provide equal opportunity to both men and women applicant to prove their internal strength and skills without any sexual discrimination. Page 4 of 11
