Recruitment and selection process in every business is essential because it helps the
company in selecting a right candidate for the job. It may be defined as the finding of the
candidate from various sources. Selection may be defined as choosing the right candidate for the
job by following the appropriate structure (Jiang, Lepak and Baer, 2012). This report is based on
recruitment and selection process of Bailey Bus & Coach Company. This report is completely
based on planning the recruitment and selection process of the company.
TASK 1
1. Two flowcharts for identifying the recruitment process of two different organization and

In order to know the recruitment and selection process, two organisations has been
selected i.e. Tesco and Hilton.
Tesco Hilton
1. They use both internal and external sources
of the recruitment. In this, they see the list of
candidate and recruit them. In external source,
they give advertisement on their company’s
website.
1. In the internal source Hilton hire their
interns as full-time staff for the job position. In
external source, they recruit the employee by
contacting the hotel school (Hendry, 2012).

sent by the interviewee in not up to the mark because it does not include all the points of the job
description. The question which was prepared by Ahmed is good because it is helpful in knowing
the personality of the candidate.
