INTRODUCTION
Health care environment is the alliance which depends on leadership so that they can
demonstrate the understanding of the system of health care and the environment in which
managers have to provide the information for doing the functions and operations of the health
care. The present report is based on the Silver Line company which is charity organisation of
UK. The company helps free by providing the information and the advice for the other people
(Swayne, Duncan and Ginter, 2012). The report contains the mission and the vision of the
company and the structure which is follow by the organization. PESTEL analysis is to be
conducted for the expansion and it has to be discussed.

Corporate Governance :- Silver Line Company is a charity which is governed by the
trustees who meet the deadlines to determine the direction to improve the strategies of Charity
and also managed the team which is having the small staff to achieve the targets and also to
manage the operations which is to be done on day to day functions which is running in the
organization. Silver line have to make the plan for operating the business, they have to set the
budget and have to measure the risk and the charity have to managed all the parameters have to
make the decisions and by that all the members of the entity agreed by the decision and this is
decided in conducting in the board meetings (Drummond and et.al., 2015). Silver Line is the
responsibility is to review the financial reports in a month, the rolling budget, financial control
and the progress which against the objectives to be set out on the business plan of the charity.
The company has to compile all the information and the data and keep all the details up to date
that is given by government so that the entity can attain the success in market. Along with this
the firm has to change the policies on the different areas such as Vulnerable beneficiaries, Risk
management, conflicts occur in the management of the volunteer interest and the handling of the
complaints. During the year, the company and the committee has to reviewed the charity of the
financial controls and the mandatory of the banking.
Vision – Silver Line company has to become for the best known helpline for the order
people. The company have to attain the success in the market they have to attain the vision.

Along with this the company have to improve strategies and the policies so that they can improve
the functioning and operating the entity (Van Lerberghe, 2008).
Mission – The company having the objectives for which Silver Line charity that was
established and have to promote the protection of the older people and in attaining the success in
attaining for that they have to befriend and support the other person and have to be isolated for
the other people. Along with this company has to help the older people by financially, medically
and have to give them advice, guidance and the support so that the entity can attain the success
and the growth in the market (Aiken and et.al., 2008).
Stakeholders – Silver Line company having the different stakeholders which will help in
attaining the targets and the stakeholders which includes local authorities, staff members of the
entity, family and founder of the entity, employees, government, social services, volunteers,
trustees and the Big lottery fund. They have the direct impact on the services that is provided to
consumers by the firm which includes the savings of the health care, less stress for families,
personal and professional development for the volunteers.
These are the corporate governance, Vision and mission of the entity and these are made
by the managers of the entity to achieve the targets (Hesse and et.al., 2005).

Organisational structure defines the activities which is done by the entity which includes
the task allocation, coordination and supervision that are directed towards the achievement or to
attain the aim of the organisational. The company have to view the glass or the perspectives by
which the individual person has to see the environment of the organization. Organisation
structure depends on the size of the business, its aims and the way that they have to see itself that
what they have to achieve in the competitive market (Piko, 2006). Organisational structure is
also affect by the external factors that are done by the outside of the entity such as the nature and
spread of its consumers. There are different type of structure which helps in doing the operations
and these structure helps in achieving the aim of the organisation and the objectives so that they
have to make the best use of the people and the resources. There are the different types of the
business structure which includes tall structure, flat structure and the matrix structure.
Tall structure – The business is organised in the different layers of the entity that having
the more authority. The advantage of this structure is that the every role has to be clearly defined.

They have to make the decisions for the top management of the entity but the communication
may be slower as the message have to pass the on the different levels (Seybold and et.al., 2006).
Flat Structure – In this structure, company having the few layers and the different people
included in it in every level. They have to make the right decisions for the several groups within
the every layer. Along with this communication is proper and it should be more effective. In this
structure the company has to work well with the skilled and the motivated workers (Siegel and
et.al., 2007).
Matrix Structure – The business having the needs so that they can use by the different
level with the variety of the skills and knowledge which is drawn from many parts and the
different functional areas which includes marketing, operations, finance and the human
resources. This structure is divided in the different areas that is the top manager, two matrix
manager and the teams. The company has to accessibility of the speciality. Along with this
company has to use the different resources in the team make it flexible and have to make the
communication to make the team better (Berkman and et.al., 2011).
Organisation structure that having the different forms which is on the basis of the
communication line of the firm and includes in the communication which is to be done inside
and outside the Silver Line. The company has to provide the different functions is to be done in
the market or the industry. Silver line organization is having a charity that operates the different
operation in UK. The firm needs the organisational structure that allows to do the operation
effectively (Horan, Andrus and Dudeck, 2008). The nature of the entity the firm that operates
with a board of the trustees at the individuals which is to be done from top level which defines
the long term goals of the entity. Silver Line operates a function with the small team and the
company having a support from the community. The firm have to do the day to day operations so
that they company attain the goals and objectives with the help of the team leaders. Team leaders
is very helpful in attaining the targets by making the efforts to achieve with the proper efficiency
and effectiveness. Silver Line company has to achieve the different targets, goals and objectives
at the different level.

Environmental analysis is the instrument or the tool which is to be strategic. It is a
process by which company can identify the elements of the internal and external which affect the
performance of the organisation (Gupta and Denton, 2008). This evaluation or the analysis is

help in making the right decisions. Business are greatly influenced by the environment so that
they can make the right decisions. There are many tools for doing the analysis of strategies and
for that Silver Line Is using PESTEL analysis for the evaluation. Managers and those persons
who are building the strategy to find the market condition at present and also helps in the foresee
that where the entity stands in the market in future so that company can develop the strategies to
attain the success in the competitive market. The company wants to attain the competitive
advantage in selling the product or targeting the market through the knowledge and the skills.
The company has to understand that what the consumers wants and what are the needs of the
consumers rather than the competition. To identify the strength and weakness they have to make
the different strategies and the policies. Marketers have to provide the different services so that
they can pursue the market segment (Baker, 2006). There are different strategies of the business
can employ in the competitive environment from price changing of providing the services and
also to be done with the new packaging to improve the services of the consumers and also for the
development of the new product and by that Silver Line can make the services better and can
expand the business in the new market. PESTEL analysis having the different factors that affect
the business environment. along with this these factors affect the working of the business directly
or indirectly. Silver Line have to improve the different policies and the services so that they can
attain the success and goals in providing the services or in expanding the business (Campbell and
et.al., 2007).
Political factor – These factors help in providing the services in the whole world with the proper
environment. These factors takes the current situation and position in the market and by these
factors they defines the stability of the political environment. along with this they are having the
attitudes of the political parties and the movements. They have to manifest in the influencing of
the government on the tax policies and the involvement of the government in the agreements of
trading (Weber and et.al., 2010). This factor includes the government policies, taxes laws and
tariffs, stability of the government and the regulations of the entry mode. In the industry they are
having the high staff turnover, the workers offers a higher level of loyalty and they have to
represent the desirable employees for providing the better services in the market.
Economic factor – These factors are those factors which are the determinants or important
factors of the economy or the nation. These factors make the helps in concluding the direction in
which they have to expand the market or move in the economy. These factors help in analysing

the business which is based on environment and also helps in setting out the strategies so that
they have to make the changes in providing the services (Hartig and Marcus, 2006). These
factors affect the business which includes the inflation rate, interest rate, disposable income of
buyers, credit accessibility, unemployment rates and the policies which is monetary and fiscal
and foreign exchange rate.
Social factor – In this factor, countries are varying from each other they are providing the
different services in the different countries. Every nation have a different different mindset for
providing the services. They have the different attitudes which have the impact in the business.
These factor affect the sales of the products and the services of Silver Line. These factors include
the cultural implications, gender and connected demographics, social lifestyles, domestic
structures, educational levels and distribution of wealth. Silver Line proving the different
services and also thinks about expanding the business in the different market this affects by the
social factor (Allegranzi and Pittet, 2009).
Technological factor – Technology is changing day by day and Silver Line has to use the new
technologies in providing the services for doing the charity. This advancement is greatly
influenced by the business. The company has to expand the business so that they have to provide
the new and innovative services so that they can attain the services. Technological factors help in
attaining the consumers reacts to the various trends. These factors include the new discoveries,
rate of technological obsolescence, rate of technological advances and innovative technological
platforms (Leape and et.al., 2009).
Environment factor – These factors have to influence the trades of the business. They have to
make the changes in the climate so that they can affect the trade. They have to make the
reactions for offering the different services so that Silver Line can not face the issue. Along with
this it affects the agribusiness. The entity has to provide the proper environment to the employees
so that they can provide the better services. These factors includes the geographical location,
climate and whether, waste disposal laws, energy consumption regulation and the attitude of the
people towards the management.
Legal factor – These factors having the legislative changes which is to be done time to time.
They have to do the changes which affects the environment of the business (MacDougall and
Polk, 2005). Silver Line have to follow the policies and the rules and regulations this will help in
the better performance and also in providing the better services to their consumers so that they

entity can attain the success in the market. The government has to set the regulations for the
industry or for the different companies that all the law affects the business in the economy.
Business should analyse the legal developments in the environment. these factors include the
product regulations, employment regulations, competitive regulations, patent infringements and
health and safety regulations (Choudhry, Fletcher and Soumerai, 2005).
Viability of the business – Silver Line has to evaluate the viability so that they can
expand the markets and also help in improving the performance. Determination of viability and
the properties of the adhesion of the cells which is to be attained so that they can attain the
performance and the objectives. This approach based on the analysis where they involved in the
external funding so they have to do the financial analysis and economic analysis which is using
in the discounting cash flows. The company have to assess the sum of the costs and revenue. The
company have to analyse the performance by the break even analysis (Fournier, Richet and
Weinstein, 2006). This method is the appropriate for the evaluation and the analysis so that
investment can be done. They have to develop the analysis which ignore the discounted costs and
it is suitable for checking that whether the investment is increasing in the rents and the other
revenues. The company have to find the maximum profit as it it is the charity organisation they
provide the services to the people ho are suffer from different things. They have to collect the
capital costs and the operating costs so that they can increase the functioning and the operating.
They have to construct and consume the different services to attain the success in the competitive
market. Silver line has to provide the qualitative services so that they can expand the business in
the other countries.

The company has to follow the proper infrastructure which will helpful in attaining the goals and
objectives. The company has to develop the strategies and the policies which will help in
expanding the market so that the firm can attain the success and also improve the performance.
The company has to provide the franchise or business opportunity that also helpful in expanding
the market in the different country. Silver Line has to choose the different location that where
they can grow and attain the success in the market (Varshney, 2007). The company has to make
the license for the providing the funds for the charity and along with this company has to form
the alliance by that business can be expand very quickly. The company has to provide the

training to the staff members so that the employees can make the informative products and at
every level company can increase the performance. Silver Line has to diversify the business. In
this they have to provide the services of consumers that is self complementary and have to
provide the training to the staff so that they provide best services and by that charity institution
can attain the success and growth in competitive market. Diversifying is the strategy for
increasing the business in different markets.
Another one is company has to target the market and by that firm can attain the maximum
revenue which will help the entity in increasing the performance in the market. Silver Line has to
win the contract of government. Another strategy is that the company has to merge or acquire the
business with the other so that they can attain the maximum profit and also attain success and
growth in the competitive market (Kollef and et.al., 2005). The company can expand the
business by the internet also in the whole world by that performance of the Silver Line can
increased and company can attain the success in the competitive market.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been observed that Silver Line company has to expand the
services so that the entity can achieve success in the market. In this report company is done the
PESTEL analysis to know that what is going in the market and the improvements has to do to
achieve the targets and the entity has improve the performance in the market by improving the
functions and operations and company have to develop the strategies so that they attain the
success in the market.
