There are certain tools and techniques which are being utilised for resolving the issues (Baiden and Price, 2011). Company chosen for this report is Waitrose which is a multinational company dealing in foot retail across the globe and it has been established in 1904. There are certain things which are being discussed like data collection techniques which will be used to gather the appropriate data for carrying out essential activities. TASK 1 P1 Aims and objectives of a project It is highly essential for an organisation to adopt and carry out CSR activities so that goodwill can be attained in effectual manner. Management of Waitrose have to utilise this in order to attract the customers for gaining market share in an effectual manner. For a big company it is not easy to apply CSR activities but they can help the society in order to uplift the social and economical factors (Bakker and et. al., 2011). Therefore, it is highly essential to apply CSR activities to gain sustainability. TOPIC:“Applying CSR activities within Institutions to meet sustainable objectives.” Background of the project: In this kind of approach, sustainability mainly aids out in reducing and removing the negative factors and replacing them with the positive ones. CSR activities mainly enables an organisation to deal with dynamic environment and brings sustainability to aims and objectives so that competitive advantage can be gained. By applying this kind of techniques in Waitrose, leading position can be taken in marketplace (Beringer, Jonas and Kock, 2013). This in turn provides advantages to the social and economical factors in effectual manner for upraising the society standards. Aim:To apply CSR activities in the company to attain sustainable goals: A case study of Waitrose in UK. Objectives: Measuring out utilisation of CSR activities for attaining sustainable objectives.
