day to day business activities and are the main cause of conflicts and issues at workplace. Thus,
it become crucial and necessary for all organisation to make effective strategies to cope up and
mitigate this issues. Hence, current research is based on the topic study about the facts and

2018). Rolls Royce cars ltd is a multinational famous British automotive brand and car
manufactures which mainly deals in Luxury cars and headquartered at West Sussex, England,
and United Kingdom. Rolls Royce cars Ltd is also among these organisation that is facing this
issues of workplace discrimination that is mainly related with age discrimination and redundancy
selection (Age discrimination and redundancy selection: Rolls Royce v Unite, 2020). The
workplace discrimination has negative impact and hampers the performance and efficiency level
of employees and overall organisation thus, following research is conducted on various forms of
workplace discrimination so that better strategies could be made by organisation like Rolls
Royce cars ltd to cope up with and encounter negative implication of workplace discrimination.

Aim of project
The aim of this research project is “To get a better understanding about the about the
reasons and causes of workplace discrimination and also includes a study over various strategies
and steps that can be adopted by an organisation to eliminate and reduce this discrimination”.

The main objectives of this research project conducted on Rolls Royce Motor car are as
follows:

The main justification for selection of current research topic based on workplace

topic is rational as lead to better examination of various forms of workplace discrimination so
that some effective strategies and policies could be adopted by an organisation to have better
performance. Workplace discrimination is the main factor that leads to higher number of
conflicts and chaos and carets tension among staff thus, it is necessary to resolve and overcome
the situation of workplace discrimination so that a better coordination and positive environment
can be created at workplace to ensure better success and timely achievement of targets. Hence,
the current research is vital and useful from perspective of an organisation and professional
background of researcher. Apart from this, it also met educational background of investigator
and ensures better managerial skills and knowledge for all other related scholars.

research topic, as it formulated through the scholarly articles, libraries book, online sites and
other relevant sources with associated with particular research(Marchiondo., Ran, and Cortina.,
2018). The literature review is made a structure to attaining the requirements and determining the
nature of current research topic. As for this research the literature review is conducted for the

2018).
To study about the facts and reasons that influence to create and facilitating workplace
discrimination.
According to the Sherrie Scott, 2019. Discrimination in the workplace is refers about the
treating the workforce in the organisation premises or allocate the job as offer in terms of
demographic factor such as age, gender, religion or disability factor etc(Manuel and et. al.,
2017). It stats that discrimination with anyone in the organisation premises is only happen when
some one is creates the violation to protect the laws. As the general meaning of discrimination is

laws protect which are link with job work. The reasons which can influence to create and
facilitating workplace discrimination in organisation that it addresses the work environment
healthy safety where the employees can feel satisfy to work in the premises as well as it also

which protect all these rights and uses in time of violation if it creates the negative influence.
Some of the factor which comprises the workplace discrimination in terms of employees gender,
age , religion or any kind of disabilities by allocate them as per their potential work(Gabriel and

discrimination play major role when a women faced any kind of harassment ornegative abusive

Interpretation
The above pie chart is depicting about overall impact of equality and diversity and it has
been evaluated that 19 respondents form a total of 20 had supported Positive impact is lead by
equality and reduction in workplace discrimination on performance of Rolls Royce while only 1
participant was there who had favoured negative impacts of equality at workplace.

Reflection
The current research work on the topic of workplace discrimination is informative and
crucial for me that has enhanced by understanding about various aspects and concepts of
workplace discrimination and importance of equality. Beside this it has also lead to improvement
in managerial and communication skills as I had managed to work properly with use of
quantitative research method. Data was collected by me with the help of a questionnaire that
affiliated a time saving and effect method to gather information for research. Beside this to cope
up with the issue of time management that was faced by me during this research work use of a
Gantt chart is made. Beside this, many ethical consequences are also associated with a research
work thus, due consent and permission is acquired by me to resolve all possible ethical issues.
Thus, overall the current research work is successful and prominent for my career and education

background which has ensured better managerial and interpersonal skills for me to have better
opportunity in future. The use of current research method that is based on quantitative study are
vital to meet objectives of current investigation but some difficulties and challenges were also
encountered by me that consists of lack of collection of in-depth and theoretical form of data to
have deep analysis and interpretation of view point of responders. Further, issues related with
management of time and resources were also encountered that were meet through use of Gantt
chart and other statistical tool.
Recommendation for alternative research methodology
Use of qualitative research method together with interview could be made as alternative
research method. Use of qualitative research ensures better and in-depth information but is quite
complex and time consuming. Besides this, current issue of Covid -19 has also made it difficult
to have face to face interview. Thus, use of questionnaire for data collection is most suitable
strategy for current investigation. The use of qualitative research method as alternative method is
viable to meet objectives of current investigation as it led to collection of theoretical data to have
better understanding and analysis of view point of participants which ensures more viable results
and conclusion.
G) Conclusion
It has been concluded from this research work that workplace discrimination is becoming a
big challenge for business organisation the main cause of which consists of culture of
favouritism and pre- employment. It could also be concluded from this research that various
negative impacts are also created by workplace discrimination like conflicts, employee turnover
and chaos that lead to reduction in productivity. At last it can be summarised that, strategies like
better training and education of staff along and adoption of transparent leadership and
management can be adopted to reduce workplace discrimination together with effective
communication.
H) Recommendations
On the basis of above resrch it is recommended for Rolls Royce for overcoming challenge of
workplace discrimination and to lead to better fair and equal workplace culture:
Adoption of fair recruitment polices are recommended for Rolls Royce car ltd as it
ensures selection of employees and candidate without any kind of discrimination on any

ground thus, ensures better check over workplace discrimination. Fair recruitment
strategy lead to reduction in Age discrimination and redundancy selection as all
individuals get equal chance of selection to reduce the workplace discrimination and to
lead to better fair and equal workplace culture.
Implication of effective and open communication is also recommended for Rolls Royce
cars ltd so that a better boding and commitment can be develop among employees to
eliminate the issue of workplace discrimination. Open communication ensures more fair
and transparent decision making at workplace without any kind of favouritism thus,
ensures creation of equality and eliminates discrimination at Rolls Royce.
