It is also the responsibility of managers and leaders to make effective strategies and efforts for well being and development of employees in order to motivate them to have better performance and enhanced productivity(Chai and et. al., 2020). Thus, talent management and ensuring well being of workforce become essential for a hotel or resorts to remain competitive and maintain its exclusiveness at competitive business environment. Intercontinental Hotels and resorts are also among such organisations where leaders and managers are having crucial role to develop its employees and ensure their well being to achieve the desired goals and performance level. Research aim The main aim associated with this research work is, “To understate the importance of talent management as strategic priority together with evaluation of role of line managers and leaders in employees development and well being”. Research objectives Theforemostobjectivesthataretobeencounteredthroughthisresearchproject conducted on Intercontinental hotels and resorts are stated as follows: To understand the priority of talent management in an organization. To evaluate the role of line managers and leaders in employees development and well being(Raffiee and Byun, 2020). To develop better knowledge about the positive implications lead by effective talent management in success of a hospitality organization. Rationale of Research This part of research project reflects the justification and importance of selection of a research topic. Thus, current research topic is important to get better understanding about talent management that is crucial concept for all organisation to maintain its viability and better success level. Beside this, it has been observed that more activities to about team bonding and providing regular appraisals and perks are suitable strategies to ensure well being and development of employees. Stakeholders-Itincludes all those individuals who are associated with a business organisation and get affected by its decisions and functions that includes directors, clients, business partners, mangers, employees and other related parties. For current investigation 30 respondents are selected form the manager, employees and directors of Intercontinental hotels and resorts to ensure better collection of data about talent management. Communication- To have better communication among team members both formal and informal source of communication are adopted by researcher. Beside this, use of digital media and online modes are also made to ensure communication of research activities with interested and related stakeholders. Reflections and Alternative research methodology Reflections This journey of conducting research on the topic of talent management and well being of employees is very crucial and informative for me that has lead to improvement in my knowledge and interpersonal skills. Use of questionnaire and interview techniquesfacilitate a better opportunity to interact with various individuals that enhanced my communication. Further, various issues and problems are also faced by me that are timely identified and solved by me through making use of suitably strategies. Like, the issues of time management is encountered by making use of Gantt chart. Thus, it can be observed that this research is vital for me that has facilitate overall personality development and better opportunities for me.
